The C213 Induro Carbon 8X carbon fiber tripod offers the ultimate in strength, light weight, fast action, and reliable performance. C-Series tripods are made of the latest generation of high quality 8-layer carbon fiber tubing which is 60% stronger overall than conventional carbon fiber material. Each leg lock has a specially designed dust and moisture-resistant seal. Plus, this tripod includes both interchangeable rubber feet and stainless steel spikes. The C213 measures 24.9 folded and extends to 64.1 in height. Suitable for SLR and medium format cameras.

i bought this tripod in lieu of a Gitzo with similar features. i am very happy with it. Construction is elegant, set up quick and neat. With RRS BH 40 head the tripod handles my DSLR and lens to 80-200mm zoom with no waver or wobble, no matter the leg length or spread. Tripod weight is light but unit balanced well. Included case and accessories -wrench, ground spikes, case strap-in a pack are a welcome change from Gitzo, where you must but each accessory separately. I also bought the shorter center column and find it very useful.

i use my equipment for landscapes and architecture and some portraiture. So the tripod gets used. i have used this almost each day since i got it; alas it has been dropped and banged against rocks but shows no wear.

I have an older larger Gitzo; when the time comes to 'retire it" i would have no problem getting a larger Induro.
