The INDURO CARBON 8X CM-34 Carbon Fiber monopod offers the support needed in tight spaces, or for stability and mobility in fast moving shooting situations. The CM-34 monopod is made of the latest generation of high quality 8-layer carbon fiber tubing which is 60% stronger overall than conventional carbon fiber material. Thanks to the latest refinements, the CM-34 has increased load capacity (up to twice the capacity of earlier models). It's ideal for photographers on the move - Sports, Nature, Landscape, Travel – and in the studio. Half turn leg locks provide fast setup and incorporate a specially designed dust and moisture-resistant seal to assure reliable performance in virtually any environment. This Induro comes in priced a little under some models from larger name competitors but the quality doesn't reflect this. I'm very pleased with it and it supports a 400 f2/8 lens with a 1 series Canon body with no problem. Great investment and I'm glad i bought it. I'll certainly look to Induro the next time I buy tripod legs.

All in All this is a quality product. Easy to extend and very light. My only problem is it's a little short for me and I'm 6' tall. I wish the height would have been listed. I had to add a ballhead to get more height which added more weight. Still it's much lighter than my aluminum monopod. I checked Induro web site after I bought it, which I know was stupid for not doing so in the first place, and they list the heights for all their pods. 62.6" for this one. I'm going to keep it though.. I just rest it on my foot when I need a inch or two more...
