Well I'd say this is definitely one of the oddest things I own now. Neat in appearance the rock itself has a milky pink color to it. Add the electric bulb inside (a decent sized one in mine but apparently random according to the other reviews) and that milky pink turns into a shadowy red. Very unique lighting as 2-3 of these lights a room well enough for activity but dark enough for that special privacy *wink*.

Only issue I had is that the "beautiful" wooden bottom (bottom rung wood poorly screwed to the bottom of the rock itself) which was not exactly easy to detach from the rock. When I took it out of the box the bulb was loose inside of the hollow of the rock and could have shattered during it's journey. Besides this excellent timely delivery, perfect product... what else do you need right?

Understandable since these are natural crystals and all, but the one we received barely resembled any of the pictures shown online. Would've been good if they had mentioned that more clearly. Also, the tiny bulb inside blew out the moment we turned it on -- had to get a replacement at the hardware store. Other than that, we've gotten used to the look of it now and it does provide a beautiful glow -- more than a candle but less than a lamp.

I've been using this lamp daily since I ordered it several months ago. The product is functional and was delivered in the condition described.

I will be ordering my third one!The first one was shipped in a timely manner and packaged well and it works beautifully. I bought 2 for gifts and the next is for me. The second order was lost in shipping and after emailing the seller, they immediately shipped out another with no delay or questions and personally emailed me to be sure the gift was received.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product and seller to everyone.

This lamp is beautiful and relaxing. What a great value for the size. Sets a calm mood for the entire room.

I absolutely love my salt lamp. It is great to leave on in my dorm when I leave so it isn't pitch black when I come back. It has a wonderful glow and is very relaxing to have on at night before I go to bed and when I hate having all the lights on. I would definitely recommend it. It is also definitely a conversation piece ;)

I really like these lights. They give off a very warm Feeling. And are very unique each and every one. A lot of my friends and family like them as well. I would definitely recommend these to others as a nice desk piece or for your bathroom, or even bed room.

I purchased 2 of these beautiful lamps. One for the living area and one for my bedroom. Not only do they give off a wonderful rosy glow...they make the rooms feel better!

I bought 2 salt lamps and one was ok but the other one has a straight flat side instead of a natural shape. It had been cut this way. I placed the flat smooth side toward the wall so it's not so noticable.
You just don't know what you will get. I do have to say that the packaging was good unlike some reviewers.

I purchased this item as a gift for my girlfriend to help her ease into sleep at night. The lamp is truly unique and glows a beautiful, deep orange. The base is made of solid wood, and the unit has a significant weight to it (6 - 8 lbs). Regardless of the ability of this lamp to emit "positive ions", I am convinced that the lamp can, in the very least, offer a relaxing atmosphere. My girlfriend can confirm that this item is a wonderful addition to her bedroom.
