My daughter gave me one of these lamps for Christmas. I have asthma & coughed all the time, especially at night. I put it in my bedroom & coughed much less the very first night. My friends have even commented that I am coughing much less than before. Makes a wonderful nightlight as well.

This beautiful salt lamp glows orange. After 1 hour being turned on i can feel its strong effects on my body, very very pleasant feeling its hard to explain but it has a calming effect on me. I'm suffering from a chronic intestinal problem so toxins enter my body after i eat. So most of my day i feel like crap. But this salt lamp makes me feel so good its wonderful. Im hoping the negatives ions from the lamp can help heal me faster. Im gonna tell everybody i know about this lamp, i will be back for more!!Everybody should have one.

I bought a larger one and a smaller one for my office which has awful air. I have used the larger one in my family room. It's a pretty little lamp, a cool conversation piece and different. But Therapeutic I am not so sure. I read some of the other reviews which claim incredible instantaneous results. If it works for them great. But I didn't see any of that. Still, it's pretty and I turn mine on every evening for a nice warm glow.
