Dr. James A. Chisman is a retired Industrial Engineering professor from Clemson University. He has also done productivity consulting work here and abroad. He has visited 78 countries. He has published a bio of an obscure Irish poet, "Johnny Tom Gleeson", a children's story, "Bullette and Jessica", a travel memoir, "Travels and Tribulations: A Memoir", and edited a Civil War memoir, "76th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry: Keystone Zouaves". He has also published two simulation modeling textbooks: "Indutrial Cases in Simulation Modeling" and "Introduction to Simulation Modeling Using GPSS/PC, Prentice-Hall, 1992. He wrote and produced a musical song and dance revue, "An Evening with Victor Herbert", performed in Cork, Ireland. He has published several magazine and journal articles. He was a Fulbright Scholar to Ireland and is an Eagle Scout.
