This is an excellent book for someone wanting to know about industrial electricity . If you are starting out new or with less experience , this is the book for you ! Book covers practically all aspects of industrial electricity . Excellent text material and illustrations . Deals with National Electric Code also for technical people and applications and troubleshooting for electricians . One of the few books that combines theory with practice and shows clearly the different practices in the electrical industry . This review written in 2009 and this book has all the latest technologies and know-hows in the industry . If you work or plan to work in the electrical industry , this book is essential reading . Highly recommended .

It is esentially the same book I had in my motor and controls class 26 years ago it needs alittle updating still a very good basic book on motor controls..

This book supplies information needed in the working world of electricity and the understaning of the components used in HVAC on buildings all over the world.
This will help many people to repair many falts in these places.

This is a good basic book, not more technical than it needs to be. Deals with the mechanisms that an industrial electrician will encounter without overwhelming the student.

It starts with the basics and goes well beyond. It includes a great deal of reference material and covers many types of industrial controls. While you might not get through this book in a hurry you will get a lot out of it if you spend the time. It is a very good book, and a bargain as trade textbooks go.

I purchased this book to help me learn more about industrial electrical systems. It's very informative and helped me during my apprenticeship with licensed electricians at the plant where I work. It covers many relay logic and reading old school ladder diagrams, which is useful to maintenance personnel who work in a facility that is not technologically up to date.

This book is pretty much worthless. You might as well read a newspaper article on the subject, or spend an hour walking around a plant, you will get about as much information as you would from reading this book. I can't see how any of this information is practical, and since it doesn't go into any depth whatsoever, in my opinion it is a complete waste of money.
