I love looking at interior design since I really have no clue how to do it myself! When I started looking through this book, I was grabbed by the pictures of restaurants and bars from around the world and how I would never even dream of the combinations of furniture, textiles and graphics that are depicted here. How do the designers think of these things? The restaurants shown are in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manhattan, London, just everywhere and all are lush havens for their clientele. Each locale is identified so it can be found in person and there is some text describing the surfaces and textiles used, the ideas behind the look, and other usefull tidbits for us wanne-be designers! This is a very pretty book!
