Accurately measures rainfall up to 5" and can be read from a distance of up to 50'. 24" tall and its 1-3/4" tube has brilliant yellow markings with a colored float. 1" of rain raises the float over 4" for easy reading, entry funnel constructed to preventleaves and large debris from entering plastic tube.

This is the best rain gauge I have ever used. It can be read accurately from a distance and is easy to empty and clean. At the same time with the clear tube and green trim it blends into the landscape and doesn't distract.

We received this rain gauge as a Christmas gift last year and love it! Both of us are getting older along with our eyes so the large numbers and bright-red float make it easier to read even from a distance. Our gauge is about 30 feet from our kitchen window and we have no trouble reading it clearly.
If you enjoy weather watching this is a great place to start and would be a wonderful gift for young and old.

We've had this brand of rain gauge for years, really like it, it's easy to see and accurate. Only problem was, this new model has a different type of attachment, so we have to take down the old bracket and install this new plastic holder. Hope we like it as well as the last.
