5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and easy to count loose change
This product works well for counting your loose coins if you know how to use the product properly. Once you have filled the tube with coins up to the slot, place a corresponding paper wrapper near the tube opening, insert your index finger in the opposite wrapper opening to prevent the coins from falling out then tip both up... the coins fall neatly into the wrapper. Fold...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not very accurate
Maybe there's more variation in coin thickness than there used to be, with all the new designs, but I found it easy to be over or under by a coin or two with these. It's also very easy to confuse the penny and dime tubes, so you'll probably want to mark them.

On the plus side, these tubes are inexpensive and it's fairly easy to get the counted coins into the rolls. Aside from accuracy, the negative is that you still have to sort all your coins by hand.

Fold the wrapper ends closed and your done. Simple, fast and easy. I like to empty my loose change in the tubes at the end of the day and to have the holders stand up in a dresser drawer I drilled holes in a block of wood and inserted the tubes in the holes. This system works very well.

I bought this a couple years ago and have used it a number of times. It is definitely better then counting by hand, and it actually goes fairly quickly. The accuracy of these are probably +/- 2 coins. This is not necessarily the fault of the tubes, but the fact that coins can vary in size with gunk, being bent, or being worn down. For the most the bank will recount it and make the adjustment, for which I don't know why they just don't take coins in the first place, and there is no way I'm paying the 8% for Coinstar to do it.

Some coin wrappers work better than others, the product does not come with its own, but your bank should provide you with some.

All in all, it speeds up the process, and is has enough accuracy to be a viable solution.

Very satisfied, quick and acurate, I don't have to be counting coins. Went to coinstar they charge 9.8 cents for every dollar, now I take it to the bank without having to count any coins and free

I bought these terrific coin counting tubes to help us count and roll the contents of my husband's jar of pocket change. It was a nine-year collection in a gigantic plastic five-gallon jar that weighed 145 pounds. We made quick work of the entire project ... what a hoot! We had a mountain of paper coin wrappers from the bank. You just fill the tube with coins, slide the paper wrapper into the tube, tip the tube upside down and the coins line up inside the wrapper. Nothing could have been easier ... and I've got arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome! I strongly recommend this product. I love it.
