This review is from: To Indy and Beyond: The Life of Racing Legend Jack Zink (Hardcover)
To Indy and Beyond is a wonderful book on so many levels. It chronicles the life of John "Jack" Zink of Tulsa, OK and his race teams - but even more. It goes into his personal life, business and philosophies. The oil industry, burners, various inventions - a truly multi-faceted book. So often race books cover just that - racing. Here is a book that delves into the man behind the scenes and why they succeeded.
Excellent book for the details of his race team, which won the Indy 500 in '55 & '56. Great photos.

Having purchased this as a gift for my brother, who happens to own a Jack Zink Racecar, was a rewarding experience. Needless to say, we had to review the book prior to getting it to him in Canyon Country, California. Wonderful narratives and accompanying photos. We strongly recommend this book to anyone who has any interest in Mr. Zink and his accomplishments. Thank You, Bob Kneip, Cleveland, Oklahoma
