Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Inet Camera 802.11G Pan/tilt (Personal Computers)
I bought this D-link camera hoping to be able to setup a baby monitor in a large room of our house. I used a PC computer to set it up and it seems simple enough. I was able to get it to work while it was wired in to my router but as soon as I unplugged it to go "wireless" it lost connection. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and contacted D-Link customer service. This was about as useless as the camera it self. I spent over an hour on the phone with the guy who started from plugging in the camera, which I was well beyond this point. He ended our conversation by having me change the settings on my Netgear router to the point where it stopped working as well. Then told me to contact Netgear customer service to fix my problem with the router that he caused. I have since tried to set this unit up with 2 more non d-link routers and have been unsuccessful. I am now going to see if I can return it and maybe recoup some of my money. What it should say is that it is only compatible with a D-Link router. That's what I felt like the situation was after I was off the phone with the customer service rep.
