Must be heard to be believed,

Outsanding! AngelCorpse always blew me away with there completely relentless and over the top use of speed and aggression, but this album is just insane! It's in the same vein as the previous releases, but magnified a hundred fold. The more intense speed is largely due to new drummer, Tony Laureno. The musicianship all around extremly tight and is aided with a very clear production (but the raw edge is not lost). Pete Helmkamp's lyrics are (in my opinion) the best he's penned since the Order from Chaos days. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone even pondering getting this release to order it, this blows everything away!! Hail the Sons of Vengeance!!!

this album kicks ass!! AngelCorpse are very fast, technical and heavy, all the elements a death metal fan would want. Definitely top 10 releases of 1999, this is good death metal not stupid like Disgorge or Deaden or Waco Jesus who are not technical and are down-right dumb shit. This is real talent

cause Angel Corpse just kicked your ass! Within 10 minutes of listening to this, my whole room was in shambles! Believe it...technical, brutal, and down-right murderous. This one even beats out the godly "Exterminate" CD! Warning: Angel Corpse takes no responsibility to what happens to you after this CD is put into the stereo. Double bass, blast-beating, bloody finger soloing, roaring from the pits of hell chaotic.......GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technical Old School Blackened Deathmetal,

Angel Corpse blast through 8 tracks! Tony Laureano is amazing on drums adding the extra intensity to their sound that Jon Longstreth was not prepared to give them, at least at that point in his career. Yes, Angelcorpse's Inexorable is fast and extreme. Blasphemy is the name of the game here as far as lyrics go. You think you've heard fast, heard blast beats, well rest assured that you've not heard what fast is until you've heard this album. Tony Loreano is the god of all that is blast, driving every tune along with expert precision and seasoned chops that make the impossible seem possible, but barely, and even at these insane tempos that would make any metronome smoke and explode trying to even come close to measuring the BPMs. Gene Palubicki shreds out riff after riff after terror-inducing riff. His riffing on this album, he said, was deliberately constructed to not even be remotely melodic, and the utter chaos that results is absolutely head-spinning. Pete Helmkamp has one of the most evil bass tones ever! This is an album that requires and demands headbanging, but asprin may be needed by the end of it.

Good Album,

Angel Corpse play fast, tight, and somewhat old school, but brutal music. Nothing ground breaking, but still good. What really made me want to review this is the guy up there who said DISGORGE is dumb and not technical. Disgorge from California are very Brutal, Heavy and yes technical, Check them out! You dont need to put down other bands to praise another...

This album is hands down the Reign in Blood of this new century. The entire band is technically proficient at the maximum level of endurance. This is a must listen for any real metal fan. These guys (...) rip. The most extreme yet comprehensible album ever produced IMO. The only band that even comes close to the extremity of this album's relentless performance is Cryptopsy. Who in my opinion are too fast and technical for their own good. The structure of The Inexorable is much more musical than the work of Cryptopsy. This album is a Landmark for pushing the boundaries metal.

Angel Corpse's last album "The Inexorable" may very well be their best! "Wolflust" attacks with a rythm and speed that will be stuck in you mind for a while to come upon your 1st listen...it's one of Angel Corpse's masterpieces! This album still shreds it up BIG TIME as well..it's fast, brutal, technical, and sometimes even very melodic! "Inexorable" is everything you want in a Death/Black metal album...great riffs, speedy drums, raspsy vocals...all just greatness defined...a must for all you metal heads out there! YOU need this and all of their other albums as well!

Mindblowing, vicious technical death metal,

I gave this album 4 stars because, although it's trully an amazing album and one of my favorites, it's a real doozy to listen to. I both love and hate this technical death metal stuff because, even though it's incredibly awesome to listen to, it takes a few listens to get used to. It took me a few weeks to catch all the zings and zangs and little hooks and subtleties that make this album make sense. After I caught all that, this became one of the best albums in my collection. But until I got used to crazy rhythms and off-kilter time changes, it just seemed like a garbled mess. So beware. If you're easily befuddled by technical music, stay away. But if you like your death metal incredibly talented and crazy, buy this album!
