I worked on this CD. The images posted on this Amazon page are correct for the "Monty Python's Flying Circus" soundtrack from "The Infamous Television Series: 1969-1974" which was released in Summer 2009 by De Wolfe Music. It is a soundtrack of incidental music from selected TV series sketches. It does not contain audio dialogue from the sketches. The written track listing originally placed on the Amazon product description page was not for the CD pictured, but as of 30 August 09 it appears that things have been corrected. There are no lyrics, explicit or otherwise.

For the actual soundtrack CD, it's a great collection for Python buffs. I had a lot of fun listening to the CD while working on the project, and it brought back a lot of memories of great comedy.

I've been waiting for this since I was a child (we're talking 1975). There are some peculiar choices included here (the opening music from 'The Visitors' for example, which is heard for the tiniest moment, and is merely a bit of easy-listening music). The thing that makes me feel like a greedy bastard is that now I want MORE! There are so many great gems not included here, like 'Storage Jars' and 'Royal Nay-Vee' to name but two examples off the top of my head. I'd like to think a 2nd volume was in the works, though I somehow kinda doubt it. Oh well, I'll take what I can get, and this disc is as good a start as any!
