Cheryl Brenman, a certified Massage Therapist, received her certification as an Infant Massage instructor in 1986, when her daughter was four months old. After completing the training, and teaching several infant massage classes in her home town, she decided to create the video " Infant Massage, A Gift of Love" based on the work of Vimala Schneider McClure, founder and first president of the International Association of Infant Massage Instructors. Her students, their babies, and her daughter star in this easy to follow, yet inspiring video. Original music score is by harpist, Ani Williams. While the benefits of infant massage are just now being discovered by the general public, as a mother who massaged her daughter regularly in the first year, the unseen benefits of strong self-esteem, good body image, and awareness of self in the growing years is very evident.

Infant Massage, A Gift of Love, has been a true blessing for our 3 month old baby. We started to use the video when she was about a month old and have been referring to it frequently since then. The video gives you a great basic approach to massaging your child. It details each area of the body without taking too long. Our daughter is a little gassy at times and I was amazed at how the tummy rubs shown on the video really help to calm her down. Remember to keep massaging even if your baby cries or fusses (just like the video says), she will eventually learn to love the time you massage her. This would make a great gift for any new parent, it has really brought us closer to knowing our daughter.

Infant Massage, A GIFT OF LOVE, is a very educational film on massaging your baby! When I was younger, my mother met Cheryl Brenman and started doing infant massage on me before the video came out. I loved it very much. That was 16 years ago. Getting massaged as an infant, has helped me to manage my stres. The video teaches parents to massage in a very clear and simple way to understand. I recommend this video for all mothers and fathers to be.

i love this movie as much as my 4 month old son does. i started doing the massages as soon as his belly button healed and now it has become a sort of ritual. i give him a massage every night now before bedtime and he falls fast asleep and stays there for as many as 8 hours. i love how they show the steps on real babies, and give you time to keep up. best of all this tape has special techniques for babies with gas and colic. after buying this tape i never had to go out and look for a different or better one because it has everything. i also love how it offers me another bond to share with my son.
