5.0 out of 5 stars Great learning tool for the baby & toddler, February 25, 2008
This review is from: The Infant/Toddler Photo Activity Library: An Essential Literary Tool (Hardcover)
I bougth this item for my toddler who is in Speech Therapy for delayed talking and comprehension. I wanted to find something that could help me to teach him and to practice skills when he wasn't at speech therapy. These cards are great. Each card not only has pictures, but also gives you sentances to use the pictures in, songs, etc. It is a wonderful tool for the baby/toddler that is not in pre-school. Although it is a bit pricey, I have not found anything else which offers so many different ways for the parent to teach their child at home. I give it an A+ and well worth the money if you aren't spending it on pre-school.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource, November 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Infant/Toddler Photo Activity Library: An Essential Literary Tool (Hardcover)
I purchased this after my son's 12 month evaluation to help improve his vocabulary. He was only able to say about 5 words and our pediatrician was a little concerned. After using these cards and the suggestions (modifying some too) he quickly began to gain vocabulary. These are sometimes simple activities that you might think of on your own but often life is so crazy with little ones that you don't have the time and this resource allows you to quickly spend 10 minutes a day focusing on language. My son's pediatrician was very surprised when he returned for his 18 month evaluation and his vocabulary had grown to over 50 words. We have always read at least 4-5 books a day, introduced him to nursery rhymes and songs, and talked with him with very descriptive language on a daily basis but this seemed to really just provide that extra help that we needed. Excellent resource well worth the money.
