The "bean bags" included with the toy are small, light pillows with only a few beans in them. They are too light to throw easily. The openings to the mouths are small as well. As an adult sitting two feet away from the toy, I could only toss the pillows into the holes half the time. Most of the time the pillows hit the edge of the mouths and bounce off. My 11-month-old showed no interest in the toy whatsoever. Had she tried to play with it, she would have quickly become frustrated.
