4.0 out of 5 stars great carrier
Great Carrier. At first I had trouble with the straps but a few times of using it and I had it down. The patting fitted perfectly and my Baby could look around until she fell asleep. You can turn your Baby around without having to take her out of the carrier. It has a little Pocket to keep your Wallet and Cell Phone....
I would recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it
We got a really good deal on this and were excited about all the options it had. It was purchased so that our baby could face out in a carrier - our other one doesn't have the option. Well, I (Chris' wife) was sorely (in more ways than one!) disappointed in this item. The straps have some padding in them, but it barely gets over my shoulders before the non-padded part...

We got a really good deal on this and were excited about all the options it had. It was purchased so that our baby could face out in a carrier - our other one doesn't have the option. Well, I (Chris' wife) was sorely (in more ways than one!) disappointed in this item. The straps have some padding in them, but it barely gets over my shoulders before the non-padded part starts, and that part digs into me pretty badly. I tried to carry my baby both facing me and away from on the front. I am not fat, and my baby is only 18lbs (these things are generally supposed to hold up to 26lbs +), the padded area really should be longer. I would not recommend this to anyone, even if they were able to get it for free. I gave it 1 star as it is a good idea in theory..

This carrier is sooo uncomfortable I can't even use it. It's nice because it has a pocket to put things in and it's machine washable but I would say that is the only good thing about it. The instructions are very hard to understand as well. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Wish I would have used the money to go towards a framed backback carrier...

2.0 out of 5 stars At least the baby likes it...., September 12, 2009
This review is from: Infantino - 6 in 1 Rider (Toy)
I received this carrier as a shower gift. I was really excited to use it because my little girl always wants to be held. She really loves it and is always absolutely content while in it. Unfortunately, it is very, very uncomfortable to wear. The straps are padded, but the padding doesn't "fit" where it is supposed to. I end up with the bare straps digging into my shoulders and shoulder blades. The carrier also puts a lot of strain on my upper back and I can't wait to take it off after only ten minutes (which stinks because my baby is still only 12lbs). I am a very petite woman and I can't imagine this fitting anyone at all if it is too small for me. I hope I can find a better carrier soon!

4.0 out of 5 stars Hands-free heaven, September 9, 2009
This review is from: Infantino - 6 in 1 Rider (Toy)
I obtained this carrier free. My sis and I both had our girls 3 months apart, and she did not use her carrier and passed it to me. I work from home, and had a hard time with my newborn who wanted to be held constantly. Her naps do not give me time enough to do my work, so I needed a solution. This sling is easy to use and comfortable (my baby is only 9 lbs right now, thougha). My baby is sleeping in it right now. Manual says it can hold up to 35 lbs, but I do agree that the comfort straps should be longer especially if it will be holding that much weight.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's fine for light/small babies, September 1, 2010
This review is from: Infantino - 6 in 1 Rider (Toy)
As I write this review I am wearing my 10-week old baby in this carrier. I got this for free from my sister who never used it. I own a Moby (baby was born in summer, and the Moby is just too long and too warm), a shorter version of a Moby (which I use, but the head support is lacking although it is comfy) and a Dr. Sears sling (easy to put on, but my baby is still too small and rides with what I feel is a bent position that makes me nervous). I got into reading the babywearing literature and blogs. I never got the hang of the sling, and they look too "girly" for my husband. He has no trouble with this carrier although it isn't good for his back.

My baby was born at 5.5 pounds and we couldn't use this carrier because he was way too small. When he was about 9 lbs, we tried it and he fit in it perfectly. With it we don't have to hold his head all the time like with the shorter Moby or the Sears. I don't have to worry that his position is incorrect. I am not giving it more stars because I find that the straps could be more comfortable and I have to lay my baby down on the bed to put him into the carrier and it takes a while to get him in it.

This carrier feels safe, my baby falls asleep (he also falls asleep in the shorter Moby) and I can use both hands. It is likely I won't be able to use this when he is heavier because the straps are uncomfortable, but I used backpacks when I was in high school and when I went to college. I used to bike to and from the grocery store with the groceries in my backpack. If you can handle a backpack, you can handle this carrier.

Update two weeks later:
I've been using this carrier for a while and it is killing my back. My baby is a little heavier and I carry him for 2 or 3 hours at a time. While it offers head support, I wish it had either more padded straps and a waist belt to even out the weight strain. I would give it 2.5 stars because it is a cheap carrier.
