What? Why did it take someone this long to invent balls with grip/grasp cutouts for little baby hands??? My 7 month old LOVES these things. They are a good size for him. He is able to grip them on the end with the grippers, roll them around, and bang them together. Some make sounds (one makes sounds like a cymbal, the other are marbles) and some just have visual effects (spinning mirror and moving shapes). These are best played while sitting upright and supervised. Because they are hard, I generally don't leave these unattended with him. NOTE: these are on the heavier side and are made out of hard plastic. If your baby does not have the hand-eye coordination to not hit themselves in the face yet, don't give them these!
