My triplet girls immediately gravitated to this toy. It is colorful, makes noise and lights up. When we got it the girls were just learning to sit up so it helped encourage them to do so. We were also working on using our feet more to help stretch them out and it was also good for that. They loved the black and white ball and the music and lights. It would keep them distracted for a good amount of time which is always helpful to a triplet mom.

We have had the product for about a month and a half and since then my girls have learned to stand. Now that they are standing, the Pop & Swap has become a bit dangerous. It's lightweight construction has made it a hazard when they try to pull up on it. While I understand that the lightweight construction is good for floor bound babies, now that mine are standing it makes it a bit scary for this mama. We have since taken the legs off the toy and allow them to play with it on the floor. They removed the hanging toys and are more entertained by them at this point then the base.

We have not tried to put this up in the crib as we are trying our hardest to promote sleep as much as possible while they are in there.

Overall, I think this toy is most suitable for younger babies who aren't standing yet, and possibly who aren't even sitting yet. For my girls it was definitely a strength builder while learning to sit.

One big issue we had with the toy from the beginning was the paper inserts. My daughters loved them and worked tirelessly to get them out of the discs. They did and began chewing on them. Needless to say any that they did not remove were taken out by Daddy.

Overall I think this toy would be best for a younger baby in replacement or addition to traditional activity mats with over hanging toys.

I hate to gush too much, but this could possibly be the greatest baby toy ever. It really keeps my baby entertained. Things I love:
--The toy bar is adjustable so that it can angle down toward the baby so that baby isn't just looking up at the bottoms of toys.
--I like the interchangable cards that go in the slots of the toy. Offers some variety. And it would also be a good idea to put family photos in the slots as well.
--Colors of the toy itself aren't too obnoxious.

The only thing I don't care for is the music--very repetitive, and too loud. We usually have it turned off.

We bought this for our 2 month old daughter after she didn't seem to respond to another one we have from when our son was little. She responded to it right away. She won't sit under it for more than 15-20 minutes, but I think thats normal. I like how versatile it is and that you can change out the pods. I think it's going to be a great toy for her (and our 2 year is quite interested in it too!) as she develops. My only complaint is the paper circles - great that you can change them around, but very tempting for a toddler to take out and play with - and I can imagine that they won't last long. Also, Toys r Us has it for $50, so don't pay this high price on amazon.

Love the versatility which means that you can use it for tummy time, sitting in the bumbo, lying in the boppy, lying on the floor - my daughter took a while to get used to it when we bought it at about 4 mo. but now plays with all the toys a couple of months later.
Most of the toys are interesting - the spinny black and white ball is a favorite of our daughter.
It is sturdy and seems robust.
Most of all we love that it stands alone - most arches like this are attached to a play mat, and there aren't many items on the market that compare in this way.
Good that you can buy interchangeable pods - we bought the jungle items which seem like a hit.
Despite what Infantino tell you, it can be used with any other toys that can hook on the circles - we use it with a jittery sassy pull toy.
Good that you can take the toys and pods with you, to use on other items like a car seat.
Batteries have lasted a long time.

Like many baby items the music is painful to the ears. Worryingly over the past couple of months of use, I think I am getting used to it though.
The hollow plastic of the legs is a little cheap looking - this is quite an expensive item when you really look at what you get.
The "graphic cards" are nothing more than thin printed cards that fall out whenever you change the position or move the gym around.
I bought the extra pods hoping that I would be able to get rid of the boring "graphic cards" but they are not interchangeable - the only pods you can change are the good ones - really disappointed by that.
It's not terribly easy to alter the angle of the toys - it's good that there are different positions, but you have to unscrew the legs completely to be able to move it - wish you could just spin it around somehow.

Would we buy it again knowing what we know now? Yes, I think so.

Our 3 month old loves this gym. He'll be entertained by the music and lights for up to 20 minutes sometimes. It plays 2 or 3 songs and there are 2 lights that blink in time with the music.
Things I really like:
There's a setting where it will keep playing for about 10 minutes without continuous activity. So you don't have to be within arm's reach to hit a button every 30 seconds.
- He loves looking at the pictures and the black and white grabs his attention, I think.
- The hanging toys are detachable. I take them in the diaper bag sometimes. He's started swatting/grabbing them. You can also use any other brand's hanging toy you prefer.
- It's ingeniously versatile. You can switch out the toys and change the angle of the play board or even take it off the legs to set it on the floor for tummy time. You can attach it to a crib too. We haven't done that one yet. It will grow with him which is a bang for our buck I really appreciate. I liked it so much, I bought the sold separately safari toy pods that you can switch out. I'm seriously thinking about getting some of the other sold separately pop and play toys.
- It's not hideous or over the top in appearance. I don't why this was as much of a plus as it is but... I like that I don't hate looking at it.

The only con might be that the cute little pictures are only cardboard and just slide into place. So they fall out easily and could be completely destroyed by a slobbery toddler in no time flat. As our little guy is only 3 months, this isn't a con we've experienced yet. But the pictures are cute and reversible (one side is a critter, the other is a black and white pattern) so I may laminate them and find a way to make them stay in place after you slide them in.

It was a gift but honestly, if it were to break tomorrow, I would be so sad I would probably buy another one.
