3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting original source, but totally incomprehensible, March 5, 2001

This review is from: Infantry Tactics for the Instruction, Exercise, and Maneuvers of the Soldier, a Company, Line of Skirmishers, Battalion, Brigade or Corps D'Armee (Hardcover)
This is essentially Hardee's Tactics for units of a brigade and larger. It was apparently actually used during the war, which is hard to imagine, because like Hardee's Tactics it's pretty much impossible to understand. Presumably for people who had seen the maneuvers in action, it made more sense. Any historian who can use it deserves a prize.
