The plot is good but there is definitely something missing in this book.....just can't quite put my finger on it. The characters were just ok. However, I just feel like the "wow factor" is missing. The beginning was definitely not well written. The chronological aspect was off.

In all fairness, I have to admit that I have not finished this book yet. I can't seem to get through it because it lacks the qualities that make a book an enjoyable read. Note: There are some spoilers, so please read with caution. First, if it weren't for the cover, I would have no idea what the heroine looks like. I think there as one brief description several chapters into the book. The same is true for the love interests, the author fails to provide adequate descriptions of the men.

As someone else stated, the characters just start to care of each other without any reason as to why. The heroine is waiting for her boyfriend (she's about to meet his family), but another man shows up and she sleeps with him. Why is that? She gives her boyfriend no explanation at all and it is just wierd. I trust I will complete the book so I can come back and update my review, but to be honest, I doubt I will waste anymore time with this one.

Interesting concept, fairly well told. The speed at which things changed in the book had me suspending my disbelief. Nice twist at the end.

Badly needed editing or even a cursory rereading before publishing. I found myself editing the words as I read them. This interrupted the flow of the story for me.

I counted thirty errors. Among them:
words left out of a sentence: 9
extra words in a sentence: 3
grammar errors: 7
wrong word:
"KNEELED"/knelt
"BALL"/bawl
"SITE seeing"/sight
"WENT"/we
"DRUDGING"/dredging
"LEAD"/led

I got the book free, but see that it is now for sale at $2.99. I do hope this is an edited version for sale.

A very intriguing story, It keeps you in suspense until the very end. I was angry at the way they treated Renard but as the story unfolds, everything is explained. I could not understand how she could portray herself to be so innocent about sex and sleep with Jake after only talking to him two times. After the truth is revealed, it changed my feelings about Georgine and Jake.
Very good story but don't make judgements like I did as I read, the ending will explain it all.

I must say first off the plot was a good idea. But I felt like the book was choppy and missed key scenes to make the story flow. I liked the characters for the most part, even though the relationship seemed to just come out of no where and then you're 3 weeks into their relationship and you don't know why they actually "love" each other. I really wanted to love the book, but it was just too choppy. There are multiple things left hanging at the end and that annoys as a reader.

It had some English mistakes but I liked the story. It is an easy read - I read it in a 5 hour flight!

Enjoyed the story and the twists and turns. Could have used more passion and sex, but an overall good book to read!

I'm not the author, I just happened to be looking at books by authors with the same last name as mine. Low and behold, I struck gold! This has got to be one the greatest books ever written. The Bible? You don't need no stinking Bible when you have "INFATUATION."

This books trancends all genres, but I would guess that you'd call it a love story if you needed a label. They meet, fall in love, and they're off to the races. The sex scenes steam up the page, the dialogue puts Orson Wells to shame. This author not only writes the words, he creates a whole new world. You get the sights, sounds, smells, and feel of the universe where these lovers live.

"Georgie is cast in a French stage play she heads to Paris but soon learns her shady agent has set her up as a burlesque dancer." Says it all. Fantastic!

I've read thousands of books over my lifetime, but with 'INFATUATION" I've found a book I plan to read over and over again.

I loved, loved, loved this book! I've recommended it to everyone I know. It would be cheap at five time the price. Buy it now!

Not being your typical romance novel fan, I thought that perhaps this story would not appeal to me. I was wrong, and I know that I was wrong almost immediately. The author develops plot and character so well that I immediately loved the protagonist and knew that she found herself in a tricky situation that had some potential to be dangerous.

Without giving away too much of the story, the protagonist, Georgine, sets out on an adventure in Paris and finds herself encountering circumstances she did not expect... and in trying to navigate her way through it, she encounters some pretty appealing male characters that appeal to the woman in all of us!

This was a very smooth read!
