I purchased this book as it was our set text for a module on infection and immunity in my degree course.
I'm sure it may well be fine for those who are doing an entire degree course on this subject. However I have to warn those looking for an introduction to these subjects, but at graduate level, that this really isn't the most helpful introduction to these subjects. In fact if you can only afford one book - *don't* get this one. The only reason I gave it two stars, rather than one, is because I respect the learning that has gone into this. However I have had to purchase other books to fill in on the basics as it's inpenetrable for someone doing these subjects for the first time. |
