I can listen to this over and over,

Ever since Go Fish first performed at Northwestern College years ago, I've been a big fan. They started as an acapella group and since I love acapella so much, I was a bit disappointed when I heard that Go Fish decided to sign with InPop Records which required them to have backup music. I bought the CD anyway and I can't stop listening to it! There are several great new songs (both slow and upbeat) along with new versions of the favorites "You're My Little Girl" and "What Mary Didn't Know", including "Silent Night" from their Christmas album last year.If you enjoy beautiful harmony and Christian music (hey, even if you just enjoy beautiful harmony), I highly recommend this CD - Just a warning though, it's very "Infectious". ;) And the hidden track is hilarious!

Are you infectious?,

"Infectious" is the dawn of a new day for typically acappella group Go Fish, and they seize the fresh opportunity with a flourish and enthusiasm that's contagious. Though die-hard Go Fish fans will notice a most definite difference in the music because of the added instruments, one can easily see that despite the change Go Fish has retained their special zest that gives their music life. "Are you gonna wait till the stars fall from the sky" to get this CD? Hopefully not, because it's worth hearing. From their remakes of "What Mary Didn't Know" and "You're My Little Girl" (good, but originals are best) to their "I See You" and the upbeat "Infectious", Go Fish displays their talent for writing poignant lyrics and teaming them with the ideal melody. Some of the songs were written from a very autobiographical point of view, including "I See You." "Watch Me Go" was a "direct result of [go fish] signing [their] first record deal down in Nashville", and "Cloverleaf Park" was written by Jamie for his wedding- a beautiful song that displays total commitment and love to one's spouse. "The artist creates his masterpiece from nothing", and with the assistance of the master artist, that's just what Go Fish does with "Infectious".

This is a must have, for all you Go Fish fans. For those who haven't heard of Go Fish but love Christian music this is one you'll love. Most of the people I know that like FFH really like this group too. This is one of the few CDs I own that I love every song on the CD. For those that love acapella Go Fish also has a few acapella CDs. The one called "Out of Breath" is awesome and has two of the songs from the "Infectious" CD on it, only in acapella.
