Nicely presented 2-CD live album from Dio's 1997 'Angry Machine' world tour. This eighteen track audio document is good, but personally I like 2002's live 'Evil Or Divine' better. Perhaps it's because 'Inferno: Last In Live' is simply too routine for me. Saw Dio on this very tour with Cradle Of Filth as support. Decent setlist, liked hearing once again the metal goods like "Jesus, Mary & Holy Ghost", "Straight Through The Heart", "Holy Diver", Rainbow's "Mistreated", the ten-minute blazing guitar solo, "The Mob Rules", "Long Live Rock And Roll" and their sort (?) of anthem - "We Rock". Personnel: Ronnie James Dio - vocals, Tracy G. - guitar, Larry Dennison - bass, Scott Warren - keyboardist and Vinnie Appice - drums. A definite should-have.

I saw this tour several times in several cities, so this album brings back lots of happy memories for me...Some fans did not like Tracy G. , but he is "on fire " in this disc...Love it..it's worth the price just to have the long version of "MISTREATED" ...Sometimes on this tour he sang "STARGAZER" instead...would have loved this album more if that was on it too,but over all another "must have".....

I don't understand why people have such a big problem with Tracy G. Far from being "sloppy," he SHINES on this disc, and puts something a little different in every song. Tracy G is the most inventive and energetic guitarist ever to play with Dio, and I'm glad this disc captured his final tour with the group. Tracy makes the Sabbath tunes especially interesting with his Van Halen-esque licks. If I have a complaint about the album, it's that each disc is only about 45 minutes long. Dio can draw from a huge catalog in 3 bands, so why not fill up both discs? Aside from the length issue, all Dio fans should have this album, and it's also a good introduction to his work.

Ronnie James Dio displays his talent along with Tracy G, Vinnie Appice, Larry Dennison and Scott Warren on this must have double live CD. The CD captures the " Magic " of Dio with hits from days with Rainbow (Man On The Silver Mountain) And Black Sabbath (Mob Rules, Heaven & Hell) New songs from recent Dio albums Jesus, Mary & The Holy Ghost (Strange Highways) Double Monday (Angry Machines). As well as old favorites Don't Talk To Strangers & Holy Diver (Self Titled Album). An all to accurate reflection of the live Chicago concert which I attended. Fans old and new will LOVE this CD!

I've been a fan of Ronnie James Dio's music ever since I was old enough to know what rock-n-roll music was. From the time I was 10 yrs old until now ,Dio's music is still as powerful today as the first song I heard . I don't know what is wrong with peoples music tastes today ,but as far as I'm concerned, Tracy G. is one helluva guitarist up there with Rhodes and VanHalen. This is a must album for all serious headbangers, you wont be disappointed!!!!!!!!!

As usual Dio delivers! I met Dio in 1995 at the Tower Theatre in Philly. He was so awesome to his fans giving everyone individual attention. Dio is the nicest guy in Rock and Roll, no doubt! I have been a RJD fan for 15 years and he never lets me down. He gives 120% every show and every album. This collection is a MUST for anyone who loves Rock and Roll.

Ronnie James Dio has still got the best voice on the hard-rock scene I think. It's amazing that he at his age -with all respect- is unique with his bright and high range voice. He continues to be my favourite singer. He's the master and he has the power!! I hope he will go on for many years.

A powerful assembly of Dio's finest work from the earliest Rainbow cuts to Angry Machines. Awesome..this man still has the vocal range and power he had twenty years ago. It's hard to believe this is a live recording...flawless.
