5.0 out of 5 stars even more intense than the last one
madball has never disappointed me every cd is harded and more driven than the last now it seams they have a new level of control over the cds production and mixing which is great.this cd sound heavier on just about everyway the music is tight, groove ridden, streamlined if you will and the lryics are a little more politally charged then totally personal.not that madball...

3.0 out of 5 stars New but not better
Its hard to review this. Yeah it's heavier, but its not the same madball. The songs in parts lack the madball sound and are very generic, also some of freddys lyrics in parts are great, some good one liners, some of them though, are cringworthy forced rhyming.

If youve listened to alot of madball, including this album, youll know its more professionally...

his cd dose pick up where legacy left off but this time it's more tactical than just rage.this incarnation of the band is one of the best I loved matt hendersons guitar, will shepler on drum and vinny stigma and every one else in the band but this band simple shares one vision together i think they just click & groove from the sounds of things.they mayhave spawned from agnostic Front but they've grown far from their birth of the band and developed into a much more effective form of hardcore.they prove they are the kings of hardcore who needs the crown when you got the respect!!

If youve listened to alot of madball, including this album, youll know its more professionally produced than any of the timeless classics, and this is not one. The famous beatdowns and grooves are minimal. Freddy sounds good on this, but the music doesn't live upto expectations. too generic. Set it off and hold it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars definitively brutal NY hardcore, September 3, 2009
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Infiltrate the System (Audio CD)
madball is deeply imbedded in old school hardcore but they can put the new school kids in the back seat because they drive some of the meanest grooves and breakdowns around.they absolutely define real hardcore music schooled by growing up with agnostic front singer as freddy's brother and when AF called a time out 3/5 of agnostic front members played in and wrote then original material from set it off, droppin many suckers and demonstrating my style but only after rebuilding they band several times you get the band on this cd and legacy and NYHC ep.the band as it stand is as much old school as new but they are dare i say very original in their signature style since 96. they are not droppin the ball just massive hooks and breakdowns!what's with you?!

1.0 out of 5 stars What happened to NYHC??, July 1, 2008
This review is from: Infiltrate the System (Audio CD)
Bands like Madball and their other NYHC counterparts used to be the innovators of HC. This album is Madball trying to sound like someone else. Listen to everything up to and including HOLD IT DOWN and you'll be set because that stuff is pure gold... this album is not.
