Good subject/story, novice writing,
By A Customer
This review is from: Infinite Darkness Infinite Light (Paperback)
I'm really glad to see fictional work on this subject (past life remembrance, recognition of karma). Story is handled well enough, but the dialogue almost ruined it for me. Characters say stuff clearly only to be giving background info to the reader (a real person would never say that thing in that situation).

I overslept two mornings in a row because I stayed up so late to keep reading! This is an accessible, nicely crafted and compelling story. Victoria's experiences could make even those who question past-life experiences wonder "what if...." And I, at least, will never look at a Starbucks the same way again.

Bravo, Margaret Doner!!,

This is NOT your run of the mill romance novel, nor your predictable spiritual adventure! This is a thought provoking, moving and comical journey through history. As Victoria and Dennis mystically discover the thread which has bound them together for centuries, the reader is met with mind expanding possibilites of what it means to be a spiritual being. If everyone read this, there would be greater compassion for ourselves and for each other. What better time than now!

Review of Ms. Doner's book,
By Barbara A. Bauer (Devon, PA. USA) - See all my reviews

I found this book fascinating. It suggests we all have a lot to learn from past lives/experiences. The author was able to tell the story clearly without being too vague about what we feel/believe can have validation in the now. The story unfolds using realistic characters who simply demonstrate how complex lives become when the past has been unbalanced. I highly recommend this book in particular for those considering past life therapy to clear the unexplained phenonmenon of the present.

Even my husband couldn't put it down,
By Natalie Horetz (Poughkeepsie, NY) - See all my reviews

My husband, Hans, picked up the book in the bathroom because there was nothing else to read. To my surprise, he was still in the bathroom a half hour later - reading. He finally came out and said, "Damn, this is a good book." He couldn't put it down. That's the first time I've seen my husband so engrossed in a novel, and the last time I saw my book. That says it all as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely fabulous,

It's the best book I ever read. I felt like the author had been looking over my shoulder at some of the events that have happend in my own life - I really related to the main character, Victoria. I believe it should stimulate others to think about their own past lives. I think everyone should take this journey.

My favorite book of the year. This book is truly a page-turner. Evocative writing by Doner captures the reader on page one and holds it throughout the entire book. Doner artfully weaves a spellbinding tale of past life romance against the backdrop of modern-day university life. Along the way she explores such subjects as karma, reincarnation and the true meaning of love. Don't miss it!

Infinite Darkness/Infinite Light,

The book takes a very interesting look at the way in which karma manifests in our lives. I found it reader friendly - easy to read and hard to put down. I took me into some new territory. I recommend it highly if you are interested in the subject of reincarnation.

Looking forward to past lives,

This book is beautifully written and filled with moments of sly humor and deep pathos. I especially like the sharp-eyed view of academia. Also, the fact that the romantic plot moves through history adds to the pleasure of reading the book.
