Icke's most impressive awareness expander so far,

This review is from: Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion (Paperback)
David Icke's new book picks up where the final section of his Tales From The Time Loop left off - in examining the nature of consciousness and reality. There is less focus on the details of Illuminati history and more examination of how all is a virtual reality game - the "Matrix," generated by Consciousness itself to challenge itself and explore the possibilities of existence when separation and limitation are the basis of perception. Icke throws in a number of interesting photos, including his nude self from I am Me I am Free, Neil Hague's metaphysical art, holographic 3D images, and Dr. Emoto's water crystals as popularized by the What The Bleep Do We Know movie. This book seems to me a positive step for Icke, but the title is problematic due to the nature of associations of the world "love." All things considered, this a great book to expand your mind with and help in deprogramming onself from the confines of this experiential reality matrix. The illusions exist only as consciousness perceives itself in limited (filtered, programmed) ways. Icke is a truly groundbreaking author in connecting holistic science, spiritual development, and research into dark polarity power structures. By helping us understand these topics he has employed some nice wit and come to the realization that it's all an Illusion of sorts. Nice work David!

Trailer park Advaita for the unwashed!,
This review is from: Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion (Paperback)
It has taken David Icke 15 years (since his epiphany in 1990) and umpteen books to reach the same conclusions that he could have jumped to in 15 minutes spent reading about Ramana Maharishi.
Stripped of all the breathless scattershot verbiage, the message boils down to (as the title says) "Everything is an illusion". Individual human consciousness units are game pieces trapped in an artificial Matrix - a web of deception designed to milk fear and other negative emotions for use as energy for its own sustenance and expansion. Pretty much everything you could roll out as a topic for conversation is just another brick in that wall - space, time, nature, DNA, science, religion, technology, art, education, medicine, and of course the financial system and the endless wars - you name it. The shape-shifting reptilians for which David Icke was once radically famous are now pretty much demoted to minor bit-player operatives in the overall scheme (and even come in for a bit of sympathy). The book's message really is pure "Advaita" - the ancient Hindu doctrine that, well, "Everything is an illusion". The part about Infinite Love is so removed from regular human garden variety love (which all its pressures, pains, and fears) that you might as well tag Icke's concept as Advaitic "Self" (big S!) and be done with it. A book like this (in fact most of Icke's books) also really show the influence of the Web on authorship. Anybody can be an instant expert on anything, but that fact-finding power doesn't necessarily confer logic or organization skills. So given all this kvetching, why my 5 Star rating? Simple! I mean the answer to that is simple, and the reason is that Icke presents the same message more SIMPLY and more humorously than the regular Neo-Advaitic authors. The presentation of core concept "Everything is an illusion" by the current crop of Neo-Advaitic authors (no, "Neo" isn't a reference to The Matrix here, it just means the Western 21st century appropriation of classical Advaita by such as John Wheeler, Nathan Gill, Jan Kersschot, and so on) are so bloodless, dull, and humorless that Icke's version cuts through them like a top-end Harley Davidson hog through a kid's tricycle race. Admittedly though Icke gilds the lily a LOT more than those purist Neo-Advait's mentioned, with his digressions about natural health maintenance, sexuality, 9-11 conspiracy, Jewish religious law (he should've gone easier on that particular one, why continue to feed the spurious charges of anti-Semitism?), and on and on. Icke delivers the goods with a lot more sauce and fun than anybody else. However, as usual it is more diagnosis than practical working prescription (maybe it has to be this way, as in Icke's world, one sign you are dealing with The Matrix is the prevalance of RULES governing everything). That does leave us with a bit of a quandry - how to actually eject ourselves from The Matrix? Hmmm, maybe those Neo-Advaita authors are looking a bit better ... One area where Icke is a bit naiive is that he seems to accept some kind of unit of "consciousness" as the subject for all the deception. "Your consciousness is trapped" type of thing. What is that - "consciousness"? Is there some base unit of inviduation there that we need to deal with? I remember somebody once asked Ramana - "How should we treat others?" His answer - "There are no others." But I think Icke differs in one small way from the Neo-Advaits in that they seem to say that there is no escape apart from acceptance. 'Lie back and enjoy it' type of thing. Whereas Icke seems to feel you could really jump ship entirely, into a pool of pure infinite Love. Anyway, I want to know HOW to escape! For now, this book will at least get you out of your cell and into the prison yard.

Hits and Misses,
By stevenhorr (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion (Paperback)
The Hits with this book for me involve references to the Holographic Universe, by Michael Talbot, and Castaneda, and the whole idea of the world as illusion, or matrix, which I believe carries much weight. I think that ultimately Icke has changed the focus in this book from previous ones to the more positive idea that Love is the greatest reality. I agree! Without knowing it, I think, Icke in his words echoes many concepts contained in Yoga, Buddhism, and (especially, I think) Gnosticism (his reptiles sounds a lot like the archons, his matrix the creation of the gnostic Demiurge).
The Misses are big, though. How is it that Icke says that the way out of the matrix is by simply understanding that we are Infinite Consciousness... and presto: we're free! Yet at the same time, he dedicates two entire chapters to demonstrating that all religions and new age movements are simply mechanisms of division and control on the part of the Matrix itself? I think he is spot-on when he points out that religious literalism and fundamentalism cause little more than strife and division, and that religious legalism can easily become fanaticism. But if Icke actually did his homework and investigated the mystical and esoteric teachings contained in some of the religions he dismisses as hogwash, he would see that many people have worked much, much harder at understanding the nature of reality than he has, have even transcended the ego, illusion, the matrix, if you will, achieved gnosis, theosis, Union with the Infinite, enlightenment, etc, and have left us practical methods for doing the same. These methods are to be found in the many paths of Yoga, Christian Mysticism, Buddhism, Sufism, and others. I loved how the book stretched my mind. I loved how it analysed the global deception reality in a metaphysical, holistic, time-and-space-transcending manner. But by dismissing all religions and new age movements with a single stroke of his pen, he is, in my opinion, dismissing some of the very means of achieving what he claims is the solution to all of this : Infinite Love. With respect to David Icke and his courage for coming forth with his thoughts and research, he leaves us with no practical instructions for waking up to the greater consciousness of which he speaks. For that, I believe we should turn to the mystics, within and without religious traditions, to find the way.

New Age, Old Conspiracy,

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Carl Justav Jung For those who like New Age philosophy conjoined with conspiracy theory, Infinite Love is the Only Truth Everything Else is Illusion by David Icke provides an intoxicating mix of consciousness-expanding insight, radical hypothesis, and sinister, covert agendas by a parallel species that simultaneously exists with and enslaves humanity. The author's inward journey began in 1990 wherein he discovered that life itself is an illusion put in place as a means of control; that the very five senses we rely on in our daily life to "see" the world are no better than a pentagon-inspired prison, designed specifically to keep us blind; and that there is only one truth: love... everything else is illusion. The first two chapters are devoted almost exclusively to the author's views of the ultimate conspiracy theory: the Illuminati, the fascist super secret society that rules the world through nefarious means and strict control of their bloodline. Those new to David Icke, may be surprised to find his views go slightly further out in that he believes the Illuminati is in actuality a completely alien, reptilian life form that can at will vibrate at a different frequency to apparently shape shift to mask their true identity. Conspiracy theories always make for a fast, entertaining read, and this book is no exception; however, the author's lack of footnotes of source material, actual witnesses, photographic or other hard evidence, make his theories speculative at best and libelous at worst. President Bush and Prime Minister Blair are evil, shape-shifting reptoids according to Mr. Icke, but in this book he offers not one scintilla of evidence to support this supposition. The book presents a strong case for silent command and control of the world population by a series of "Problem, Reaction, Solution" scenarios, as epitomized by the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The Illuminati-controlled governmental agencies destroy the towers; the public at large demands a strong response; and the Illuminati governmental puppets provide a "solution", which of course entails the deletion of previous freedoms and ceding further control to the Illuminati. This is referred to as a kind of silent warfare and is yet another tool in the Illuminati's arsenal to control our lives and trap our consciousness, which if allowed to be awakened, would hold infinite potential without the imposed restrictions of our reptilian masters. From conspiracy, the book quickly shifts to a kind of New Age philosophy extremely similar to views espoused by the Advaita Vedanta (Hinduism) that states what we call "life" is really the dream, and "Infinite Love is the Only Truth". Substitute the word "love" with the Hindu concept of Brahman, and the overall message is exactly the same. Mr. Icke is not referring to love in the conventional sense, such as the way a man loves his wife, but rather as it represents "the One", "the Whole", or "Everything" (in other words, we are all infinite beings, with infinite consciousness, and are all "One"). It wasn't years spent with a yogi studying Hindu texts and meditation that shaped Mr. Icke's philosophy, but rather a visit to the Amazon rain forest and receiving it telepathically under the influence of the psychotropic ayahuasca, a giant vine (that contains a naturally occurring hallucinogenic alkaloid [DMT]) used historically by indigenous people for shamanic and medicinal purposes. The ayahuasca freed the author's mind, and combined with a series of synchronicities in his life, convinced him of the importance of the event and the meaning of the message. Unfortunately, by choosing to blend his Neo-Hindu philosophy with his previously held beliefs of reptilian overlords and shadow governments, the author has taken two disparate topics that don't necessarily seem to belong in the same book. It is difficult at times to follow, as the book is somewhat poorly organized and flip flops between conspiracy and New Ageism. The book's preferred method for describing the illusionary world our infinite consciousness is trapped in is the Matrix. Much like the movie of the same name, the Matrix is a shared holographic reality, delivered to us through the DNA receiver and transmitter that is our bodies. By now you must be asking yourself "What do I take? The blue pill or the red pill?" Unfortunately neither, as Mr. Icke does not offer an easy answer as to how one escapes the Matrix, but rather this: "Only when we become pure consciousness in awareness of itself can we ditch the bodies and with them the Matrix." The best chapter in the book is called The God Program, and it's so good it left me wanting more. Basically, the chapter makes the case that religions are nothing more than programs in the Matrix, designed as another means of control. If I were a book publisher, I would be approaching David Icke to stretch the chapter out to a full-length book... It's that good. Equally good, and included generously throughout the book are excellent, full color artwork by Neil Hague, that illustrate the concepts the author presents. Despite the obviously contradictory nature of combining conspiracy theory with New Age philosophy, Infinite Love is the Only Truth Everything Else is Illusion is an exciting, educational book to read. One might not agree with the author's claims, but you cannot deny he's a lively talented writer, who is extremely skilled at pulling you in with the almost conversational tone he sets throughout the book. Reading Infinite Love is the Only Truth Everything Else is Illusion is similar to a long, late night conversation with your well-read friends over drinks at a local pub. Maybe your pal had one too many and is making the case that lizards rule the world and everything we see is illusion, but he sure sounds convincing and is great fun to listen to!

This book is awesome. It is just telling me what I already suspected. The reptilian theory could be explained better, what the author is saying is that the inner, deeper part of us (the subconscious, also called the ego) is the entity that creates the reality we experience. this hidden part of our psyche is controlled and orchestrated by the deepest and oldest part of our brain which is a relict from the reptilian species, that is why David refer to them as the controllers of our reality. they are really ourselves and the seeming duality is just an illusion created by the act of separation (I hope I didn't lose you there...). Quantum physics should shed some light on the inner working of this concept. Overall: EXCELLENT!

Icke finally making progress,
This review is from: Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion (Paperback)
Up to now I've found David Icke's books to be so negative that they contributed to the problem (by inducing fear and worry) rather than the solution. This is the very first of Ickes books I thoroughly enjoyed. It contains humor, wit (especially the chapter "The God Program" is hilarious and refreshing) a much broader perspective on life (life IS basically vibrational frequency) and some genuinely interesting information I hadnt encountered anywhere else. Where most authors copy from others, Icke truly comes up with unique and original viewpoints on topics we know. As is usual with Icke books, the "Positive Solutions" section is a bit sparse. In addition to this book I'd personally recommend the book "Ask and it is given" by Esther Hicks, to learn how to raise your vibrational frequency effectively.

We can thank our lucky stars for people like David Icke who present powerful, life-altering information, and do so in a readable and even humorous style. His explanation of the nature of our "universe" incorporates the latest from multiple branches of science and philosophy along with his own thoughts and understanding. I thought I was fairly knowledgeable about most of the information presented. Yet, he takes everything a few steps further, expanded my mind into areas I had not previously conceived possible. I will never look at my "world", my "reality" in the same way again. Dynamic, pioneering, avant-garde -- be prepared to have your world rocked. Kudos to you, David Icke, for saying what few are courageous or knowledgeable enough to say!

Icke is on to something,
This review is from: Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion (Paperback)
What brought me to Icke and his book Infinite Love.... is a personal experience that bothered me very much. The early part of 2006 I had a problem with Insulin Resistance, this is the term for borderline diabetes. Losing consciousness for a split second was one of the ways that Insulin Resistance affected me. I could be staring at a computer, all of sudden I would konk out and immediately regain consciousness. Anyway, I am building up to an experience that I had. One evening while watching TV, I noticed my dog walk into the living room and I konked out and immediately resumed consciousness to witness the same thing replay itself, jsut like a tape beng replayed.
Icke's book is the only book that explained why this was possible so I read and reread his book very seriously. I also practiced the exercises in logging off from the illusion that we call reality. Just the awareness of how our reality might be constructed and that our thoughts are not us, was a freeing experience for me, it brought a lot of peace into mey life. There are passages in the Bible in Corinthians that support the central thesis of his book, that we are all part of the ONE. However, I disagree with Icke regarding his views on God, I go one step further and see the ONE as God, not just LOVE. Because of my experience, I have no other choice except to accept most of this book as real.

I read David Icke's book and found myself nodding my head most of the way through - what he says is true. I searched out a tape of his from a talk he made in 1999, and was astonished to find him making predictions of the "agenda" back then... which have already come to pass.
Everyone should read this book to become one step closer to "unplugging from the Matrix", from the system that self-polices and controls nearly every human being on the planet. Learn to ask better questions, stop losing your mind into mindless television "programmes" - wake up. The system is trying to dumb us all down so we won't notice what is really happening... ..before it is too late.

I'm just re-reading, Infinite Love is the Only Truth Everything Else is Illusion, by David Icke. Every time I read it I find new insights that were beyond my comprehension on a prior reading.
He really gets into the nature of DNA and RNA. Our bodies contain 120 billion miles of DNA. As some Russian scientists have pointed out and discovered, the double helix shape of DNA makes it a perfect antenna for receiving electrical impulses. They have also discovered that DNA is identical to computer code. There are four components of it, they are adenine, guanine, cytosine and thiamine, or A,G,C, and T. The sequence of these four components decide the "program" which we experience. Because DNA functions as an antenna, that is how we are all plugged in to the same illusion. Just like if a million t.v. sets are tuned to channel seven, every one will receive the same picture. Similarly, our DNA is "tuned" to the same broadcast of a "universe" by the Matrix, so we all see the same street, same earth, etc. However, because DNA is also computer software, which runs the computers of our body and brains, we each have a unique experience in the broader holographic illusion that is this world. What's more, the software DNA accepts reprogramming commands in our everyday language. That is why "affirmations" "spiritual mind treatments" or even every day expressions that we speak have an effect on our bodies, minds and our interaction with the Matrix, because we are literally reprogramming our DNA with our words, thoughts and emotions. A skilled re-programmer can create "miracles." A miracle is nothing more than the DNA being programmed by consciousness, rather than by the Matrix. All "laws" of nature and physics are only laws because our DNA has been programmed to accept them as laws and they become the rules of this game. Everything in our body, our brain, eyes, ears, mouth, skin, all organs, are frequency decoders. There is nothing but energy. Our eyes, programmed by our DNA, sees a frequency pattern and decodes it as "brick wall." Our skin is also a frequency pattern. It receives the command from the DNA, in conjunction with the command from they eyes, and decodes the same pattern as "brick wall" and bounces off of it when contacted. However if the human consciousness takes control of the illusion, and programs the DNA to decode that same frequency as "air", the human will be able to walk through the wall as if it were not there. That's because it IS not there. It is only an energy field which can be decoded in any way we choose. A "miracle" is simply an act of a human who refuses to accept the general pattern broadcast by the Matrix and instead substitutes his own preferred pattern. A skilled computer programmer can instruct this computer to display whatever he wants on the computer monitor. Similarly we can become skilled in programming our DNA to display any sort of body, any sort of life, or any sort of world we choose. I recommend you read the book. |
