depressing,

I get the feeling that there are no happy endings to be had for this series. In this volume, the few apparently rational characters start acting a bit creepy (Faina in particular), and the situation on the Black Ryvius just gets worse. Character development is excellent, with just about everyone on the ship starting to become a bit unbalanced. Neya gets to do more than look mysterious and point at things now, but she remains rather annoying. What little order they had in their society is crumbling, and the only well organized group is the crew of the vital guarder. Very strange show, but quite good.
