I bought this dryer to replace my Conair 173. First impression was positive. I really like the white with silver trim look. It's very sharp and stylish. After actually using it, here's my take:

TEMPERATURE:
It is definitely the lowest temperature dryer I have ever owned. On high, it's warm at best. I can put my hand right in front of it without a problem. The positive thing about this is my hair doesn't feel burned or dryed out. The negative is I think (could be my perception) it increases the drying time a little bit.

WEIGHT:
Very light. I really like that drying my hair doesn't feel like a work out.

NOISE:
It's noisier than my Conair 173. But the Conair 173 was quieter than average, so this dryer I think is more like average dryer in terms of loudness.

OVERALL:
I really like this dryer. I like the twisted folding handle. I didn't give it 5 stars because I do have a couple of things I wish it has. First is retractable cord. It's difficult to find a dryer that has both folding handle and retractable cord. Second is I feel the temperature can be increased a bit. I don't want it searing hot, but definitely more hot than warm.

My wife states that it dries her hair well but it could really use a third (medium) speed between the low and the high. If she has a beef, it is that the low is too low and the high is too high, but overall it works well. Her hair is "fine", not thick. She also likes the twisting/folding handle as it makes it nice and compact when traveling and/or storage in the bathroom vanity. Overall it's a keeper, if not the ideal and worth the price.

If you want something compact to fit in your vanilty drawer or suitcase, that does the job well, and is lightweight (very important to me, I don't need extra muscle in my right arm) this product is perfect!
