5.0 out of 5 stars PERFECT, March 24, 2003

This review is from: Infiniti: Looking for Something (Audio CD)
Get this CD. Do it now. If you like any electronic music, you will love it. If you like breaks, then you will proclaim this CD your new god an devote the rest of your life to listening to it. Ok seriously though...
DJ Infiniti wrote or remixed everything on this disc and continuously mixed them, and each and every track has his signature sound. The production is flawless. Very crisp and transparent and most likely the purest, deepest bass you will ever hear. Highlights include Running Away, Without You (remix), Inside Your Soul (it just keeps getting better), Soul Sucker, Deep Dubs (remix) and the king of all breaks, THE RED PILL.
The Red Pill remix single handedly changed the way I listen to music. It is the most focused, muscley and soothingly brutal track I have ever heard. No one should ever do this CD the injustice of listening to it on a [bad] system. When something sounds this good, it deserves to be heard that way.
Anyway there are a few "tracks to skip" but none of them are poor. At least half of the tracks are reason enough to buy this CD just on there own. So in case you haven't grasped my point....this is a great CD and is a necessary addition to any electronic music fan's collection.

Yes, its that good.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first taste of dance music.....and still one of the BEST, November 16, 2005
This review is from: Infiniti: Looking for Something (Audio CD)
Infiniti is the DJ that got me into dance music to begin with...no, not trance, but breaks. This album is a smooth mix of well-mixed breaks with a touch of vocals that perfectly compliments this infectiously good sounding mix.

Where as DJ Baby Anne is the darker side of breaks, I consider Infiniti to be the musical equivilent of LSD on the mind. You can listen to this mix and just become consumed in the transitions and layering of perfectly blended electronic sounds.

If you enjoy dance music (trance, breaks, whatever) I would have to HIGHLY recommend this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Breaks Please!, September 15, 2003

Alright,
As my eccentric friend has already stated, Looking For Something is an essential piece of anyone's break beat collection. It is, by far, the most powerful collaboration of tracks that are all produced or remixed by one person. Infiniti puts together a devastating mix that is one brutal track after another. If you are only into trippy trance or happy tracks, this is not the mix set for you. However, if you crave deep bass and dark synths? Buy this Album immediately. Def. top 5 all time favorite cds.
