Amazing!,
This review is from: Infinity (Audio CD)
I know this has been said millions of times and i don't mean to sound repetitious, but. . . . .TOWNSEND IS GOD! This album is unlike anything I've heard. It's basically a mixture of Ocean Machine and SYL and it works! It's what Jesus Christ Superstar would sound like if it was done by a metal musician. Infinity, like Devin's past works, has many, many cheesy bits thrown in. Unfortunately, at times, the songs are plagued by poor production and the songs "soul Driven", "war", and "Dynamics" have melodrama that I can easily do with out. But, alas, if you're a devy-worshipper, i suggest checking this out.

Totally Brilliant,

This man is a musical genius. It is probably my favortie record of all time, and one should also check out his Strapping Young Lad and Ocean Machine (Amazing as well). All I can say is it is musical extasy and is well worth the cash.

Best album of the 1990s.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Infinity (Audio CD)
My opinion of the music industry is poorer than ever after hearing Infinity. I got into Devin's last album, Biomech, before I knew anything about him. I was very excited by it, and I thought it would be a huge hit. Instead, I have heard virtually nothing about it in the mainstream press, and I've never met anyone (except on the net) who had even heard of it. Then along comes Infinity, which, though much different fom its predecessor, improves upon it in every way. And still zero recognition from the mainstream media. I am convinced Infinity is one of the best albums of the decade; it is certainly my favourite. I only wish Devin could had the time and money to make it as long as he wanted to, as it only goes for 45 minutes.
