Thus is an excellent speaker to serve as a center channel for a surround sound system. It was the right size to fit into the available space that was available in the center and front of the room. It fills in as the center channel above my big screen digital tv.

Sorry, but I have to write a more passionate review than those already posted- especially for a speaker that deserves a strong review as these Infinity dual-woofer inwall speakers do.
We use a pair of these speakers in our living room, and other pairs of the smaller single woofer infinity's in the other rooms of our home. So together we have a whole house stereo system which easily replaces a multiple stereos on numerous rooms. The whole system is driven by a single 40watt Yamaha stereo receiver.
The outstanding thing about these specific speakers is that they sound as good as a $500-$1000 pair of free-standing speakers and don't taking up a single foot of floor space. And this is pretty critical when you have children that like to touch, lift, knock-over any object the see (not all the time of course but it only takes one)
The infinity's are great for FM radio with HD or terrestial because voices are crystal clear-- like they are in the room with you.
I can not recommend too highly these Infinity speakers-- especially in rooms that you spend a lot of time in and would enjoy music to chill or love to.

i am satisfied with this product. the sound is clear and strong. a good product for those that love good sound but don't want to pay a lot for it.

Amazing Infinity sound. No distortion from a primary center channel. Yes, it DOES FIT between two 16in on center studs! no complaints here and now on two years of use.

The only concern that I have is that the vendor is not listed on Infinity's site as an authorized internet vendor. The vendor indicates that they are.
