It's minimalistic. I got it to use either for work or home. It's big and modern, more modern than it looked in the picture (to me), so I'm using it in my new office.
(What makes it "modern" is the way the numbers and hour indicators are so close to the outer margin. If the graphics were closer to the middle of the clock, and the rim was wider, it would be retro. But you can still use it as a transition piece in some settings.) Works great, glad it has a second hand. Excellent value. 3 weeks later, no problems or surprises.
