Worth the Price
We love the look of the outdoor thermometer which is rather rustic. It is well worth the money. The instructions in the box state that it should not be placed in direct sun although the web description does not inform the buyer of this info. We hung it on a fence in direct sun and will see how long it lasts.

Does not work!
I ordered 4 of these and calibrated them to another thermometer in the house at 70 deg F. They would never accurately track temperature. I left them outside overnight in 55 deg weather (not in the sun) and in the morning they read 66 deg F. Returned them.
