It sounds great in my home theater. I have a relatively open room that it is being used in, and it provides adequate power. Just had to position it away from the corner where it was a little bit muddy sounding. Just make sure you don't use UPS for shipping. They always make it impossible to pick up packages.

Has all the power I need for my family room and I only run it at about 1/3 volume. I like the auto-on feature that turns the power to the sub on when you turn on the sound system. First time I listened to a movie with the sub connected I jumped when someone slapped the side of a soda machine because of the sound coming from the sub.

I purchased this a week ago, and I am very pleased with the quality. The cabinet is above average wood grain, and with the cloth covered grill it blends in as any other speaker would.

The sound is superb, just the perfect amount of fill in bass for movies or music. Action movies rumble and dramatic sequences background music brings the action to life.

I am using this speaker with a Denon 4800 (with second Denon amp for 7.1 sound) and the Bose 10 (5 mini-double cubes and a passive sub) and the Bose 7 (2 mini-double cubes and a passive sub). The 2 Bose passive subs are almost completely useless... You have to stick your ear next to them to even hear if the are working at all... So the PS-10 is perfect.

I love bass where it is supposed to be... If you are looking for a subwoofer that puts out thumping, vibrating bass when the music wasn't meant to have that sound, this is not for you... Artists such as Benny Benasi, Switchblade Symphony, Fugazi (specifically the song "Waiting Room"), all sound amazing... Since they were recorded bass heavy.

I would have to say that this sub is an amazing buy... Priced at just over $200, it can compete with subs that are more than twice the price.

I recently added the Infinity PS-10 Powered Subwoofer to round out my surround 7.1 system. What an excellent addition... the subwoofer provides the deep rich sounds and tones I was missing before during movies, watching TV or listening to my iTunes. Clean crisp sound... everything I had hoped for.
