5.0 out of 5 stars Great sounding 1-Inch tweeters that can handle the power!
Put these in my '04 Accord at the stock tweeter location at the front corners below the windshield. Lots of mounting options are included in the package to mount these just about anywhere. 3.0 out of 5 stars Infinity Reference tweeter
I bought these with hopes of installing them in my factory holes on F150. Well despite multiple mounting options included with the Star bracket, I still had to do some Dremel work on the truck to get them to fit. They stick out pretty far with the mounting brackets supplied and the factory grill wouldn't fit over them. They sound OK with the factory radio, I'm hoping for...

Put these in my '04 Accord at the stock tweeter location at the front corners below the windshield. Lots of mounting options are included in the package to mount these just about anywhere. These replaced a set of MB Quart reference tweets (no longer available) that totally lost their punch. I bypassed the MB Quart crossover and installed the included crossover since these have similar cutoff frequency at about 2.5kHZ which is typical of better quality tweeters. Driving them with a PPI4100 amp that puts out 100 Watts RMS per channel and have pushed them hard (but not very long - ouch!) with no distortion or loss of quality. Not quite as bright sounding as the Alpine tweeters - but Alpines are characteristically bright in general. Great Buy!

Just got these and adapted them to fit in my 2000 grand cherokee. Threw them on and it was like a night and day difference. If you do buy these, YOU MUST BUY AN AMP! They will not just plug into a stock system and sound good without power and you risk blowing them. I picked these over the kappas due to the 3ohm rating to match better to my 2-way crossovers for my system. Warning! The second picture shown of a crossover network for 2-way is **NOT INCLUDED** in the kit, only a single in line crossover for the each tweeter is supplied. Best part about these are all of the different mounts/mounting brackets included. You can REALLY get a good angle on the tweeter once planted with one of the mounts.

I have been tying to find speakers to replace the blown tweeters in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee without much luck other than getting new Mopar speakers. From all the reviews I have read the new Mopar speakers will still blow after a while. I tried the 3.5 inch Infinity speakers, but they are too large. So I got these and they are amazing; the high frequency response is great and they still retain a good midrange. The only downside is that they are too small. So I had to fabricate an adapter out of plywood to fit the dimensions of the old speakers. Other than that I don't think you can get better quality for the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars Infinity Reference tweeter, July 25, 2011

They stick out pretty far with the mounting brackets supplied and the factory grill wouldn't fit over them. They sound OK with the factory radio, I'm hoping for better sound when I upgrade my head unit. I was not impressed with build quality, ultimatley had to super glue them into the bracket, but I guess thats what you get with "made in Vietnam".

5.0 out of 5 stars good for the money but a bit bright, January 11, 2011

These are some decent little speakers for what they cost. The sound quality is good but a bit too bright for my taste. I used these to replace the factory dash mount speakers in my jeep wrangler(required slight trimming of opening) so they are pointed directly at you. In correct combination with other components, you can get a decent sound quality for relatively little money.

5.0 out of 5 stars High Quality Tweets Clarify Sound, October 1, 2010

Good kit. These tweets are of high quality manufacture. The multimount kit included allows for a variety of mount options: flush, surface, directional... I choose the directional mount to aim the tweets at the listeners and the mounts work well and look finished. Overall, a brilliant product. Btw, I'm powering these with just a pioneer head unit running 22W rms and they sound fine with the passive crossover. I didn't even have to change the eq levels.

Upgraded my stock 05 Tl speakers to these and the difference is quite remarkable. Guitar riffs, high notes etc. are all clearer. Installation was pretty simple for a first timer. Near drop and play into the stock tweeter grills. Make sure to install the provided crossover or you will blow out the tweeters. Definitely worth the money. I also upgraded the stock center channel to the 3032cf 3.5inch speaker. Make a big difference as well!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent Sound, Mounting is okayish, September 23, 2011

*This is a review of the product only

The sound fairly good, but not very loud. I had to push the fader in my car further forward than I have with other systems I've installed. The mounting methods that come with it look kind of cheap. But, they're pretty inexpensive. A more expensive set would probably come with nicer ones.

My car already had spots for the tweeters, but the mounting brackets wouldn't fit, so I just taped them in, and they stay just fine and don't rattle or anything since they're just tweeters.
If your car has slots for tweeters or you don't care what the mount looks like, I would recommend these.
If you do care about cosmetics, I would say you should go to local car stereo places and look at different kinds of tweeters to find what you like looks best, then come back to amazon to order it because noone comes near amazon's prices.

I almost always use infinity speaker, and i'm usually impressed with the quality you get for the price, so maybe I expect too much at their prices, but these just don't quite match up with the other infinity equipment i own.
