5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent speakers
I was hesitant to order these speakers, as I have a premium Boston Acoustics factory stereo that sounded pretty good. I did it anyway and I am glad that I did. It was not night and day difference, but these are definitely more clear and I am hearing details on songs that I never heard before. By the way, these fit in the dash of a 2005 Dodge Magnum with no modifications,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good sound, not enough paarts.
I bought two sets of Infinity speakers to replace the factory ones. They fit well, however there were some diodes, triodes, who knows,in the box that I have no idea what I was suppose to do with them. Are they filters?I guess had there been instructions with the speakers I would have known what to do.Also no wires. This would not normally not be a problem except the...

One wouldn't think a little speaker like this would make much difference in sound quality but it did.

They sound clean and crisp. Don't expect them to sound Louder than the existing speakers, but they will sound nicer.

I'm a big fan of the Harman companies. I've got Revels in my home and Infinity speakers in my cars. When I purchased a 2001 Saab Viggen, I immediately ordered these to swap into the dash. I soldered all connections and placed the included capacitor inline with the positive speaker wire to filter out mid-bass and sub frequencies. These speakers produce crisp, clean vocals and anything above mid range. I always like it when I hear elements in music that I've missed before in a particular environment. In the unforgiving atmosphere of the car, hearing greater detail is a win. These Infinity speakers do just that.

I've paired them with a Kenwood KDC-x995 Head Unit and listen to uncompressed digital audio files from a USB drive.

Pros: Super clear, responsive, balanced speakers with superb audio reproduction. Fit easily in my dash. The included capacitor was an unexpected bonus and worked a real treat for the 10 extra minutes it took to solder them in place. Great price as well.

Cons: The instruction manual wasn't particularly clear on how to install with the capacitor. I'm familiar enough to know, but others might struggle or leave it off all together.

Bottom line: stop reading reviews and buy these speakers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Infinity Reference - Very Good Choice!, July 26, 2010

I had recently upgraded an audio system to include all Infinity Reference line speakers. I put these little babies in my dashboard and was amazed at how high of performance these were. They put out WAY more robust sound than you'd expect from a 3.5" coaxial speaker. (granted, I did have a Ref 475a amp pushing them). I am pleased as punch with these. You can't go wrong with Infinity Reference, especially considering price to performance ratio! Just my 2 cents... ENJOY!!!

upgraded stock TL's center channel with one of the 3032cf. Voices are a lot clearer and it makes it sound as if the artist is right in front of your dash.

I've used Infinity speakers for years and they never fail to impress me. My vehicle has the Kappa line from a few years ago and I also added the Basslink self-powered subwoofer. I decided it was time to replace my wife's factory speakers and seeing that her vehicle is higher mileage, I decided to try the Reference line to see how the entry level speakers compared. WOW! I purchased this set with the 6032cf for the doors and the 9633cf for the rear deck. Due to the current sale, I was able to get all three sets for $191 delivered - an excellent bargain! I was very impressed with the 6032cf and 9633cf tweeter enhancement switch which adds an extra 3 db if needed (and in her car it did since her stock headunit only has bass, midrange, and treble adjustments.) Note: the 3032cf doesn't have this adjustment. When we tested out some of our favorite rock tunes (particularly sections with heavy bass,) they performed so impressively that my wife commented that it sounds like my car with the subwoofer ... only she doesn't have one. Highly recommended! Infinity proves once again they are the premiere speaker manufacturer.

Are they filters?I guess had there been instructions with the speakers I would have known what to do.Also no wires. This would not normally not be a problem except the termiinals on the speakers are vert small and hard to adapt to.The sound on them is good but they need to have a more complete package. These are a replacement type speaker, so people will be retro fitting them to older installations.

BRINGS OUT THE SOUNDSTAGE MORE TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. VERY CLEAR SOUND QUALITY. THE HIGHS AND VOCALS ARE VERY CRISPY AND AS A RESULT BRINGS OUT THE PRESENCE.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just a tad better than factory infinity speakers, October 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Infinity Reference 3032cf 3.5-Inch, 75-watt High Performance Two-Way Loudspeaker (Pair) (Electronics)
The factory infinity speakers on the dash of my 06 Mega, 3500 went out and replaced them with these. So far, I've noticed marginally better sound that the stock infinity speakers but none the less better and for a very reasonable price.

The only downside with my installation was that the speakers came with no cables / connectors so I could replace my factory connection. And fit was a little tighter than the originals.
