I bought this amp to fit under the driver's seat of my 2000 CR-V. I had to cut the carpet and padding out from under the seat to clear the seat adjustment mechanisms, but it fits great and the glowing blue rails look pretty cool at night.

I've got this hooked up to an Alpine head unit via preamp-outs and driving two pair of Infinity 6020 6.5" Component speakers. I cannot describe the difference in sound from the old Infinity shallow-mount coax speakers powered by the head unit. The bass is so deep and powerful with no clipping or bottom-out. The highs are crystal clear and not overpowering. It's hard to tell how much was due to the new amp or the new speakers (since I made both changes at the same time) but I now find myself looking for excuses to drive my car just so I can listen to music. The amp has plenty of features (both low and high pass x-overs and 4x, 3x, and 2x bridging for a variety of sub/sat setups. It is pretty large, but quite attractive, and the sheer amount of clean power is incredible. Highly recommended for loud clean sound; I have not tried this with big subs.

I've been using this amplifier for over six months now and have had absolutely no problems. I've been unable to raise the volume more than 3/4 because the sound level is simply just too deafening. I can play it at ear piercing levels with no discernible distortion. Hookup was easy and there are plenty of options to customize the signal for your vehicle and head unit. The manual is well written. I carefully selected this amplifier after much research and I have been highly satisfied with the results. It has exceeded my expectations. Do your own research and select the amp that best fits your needs. If you decide to purchase this particular amplifier do so with reasonable confidence that you will receive a quality product.

I have owned this amp now for almost a month and I am very happy with it. it is powering two Kenwood 100watt rms 6x9's in the front doors and two infinity refrence 90watt rms 6.5's in the rear doors. My hu is a Clarion VZ409 and this amp compliments a great system with amazing sound. it has a set of preouts on the amp that allow you to link to another amp for a sub. i have it paired with a JL audio 250/1 slash v2 powering a 12W3V3-4 and i love the sound. the only problem i had was alternator whine which i fixed with a ground loop isolator. this is a great mid range amp with high end sound and features. i love it and reccomend it to all who want qualitry sound.

I would not recommend this amp.. It always overheats and shuts off, even with the input levels at 1/2 power. I've only had this amp for a couple of months and two channels stopped working. I'm sending it back.

This amp hits the full range, once you tune this sucker it is ready to please. I have it powering two infinity reference 6030cs component 6.5s and they sound great, the rear is hooked to a bridged 10 inch sub which hits clean and hard. A perfect amp if your looking for something versatile that can pack a punch.

I use this amp to power my componet speakers and it works great. No complaints and lots of crisp clean sound.

Its a decent amp but theres so many design flaws. the inputs are slanted down so occasionally the wires will fall out, in fact my ground wire fell out some how and blew the 35a fuses. Oh and if you blow a 35a fuse good luck finding a replacement thats not online.

The amp works great with the speakers I have. I have Rockford Fosgate in front and in back. The sound that comes out is awesome

I bought this amp to go with my 4 infinity kappa 63.9i speakers that run 75rms @ 2ohms. I have an alpine cda-105 head unit and figured that this amp would be good because it was "high performance" and matched my speakers well. The guys at crutchfield agreed with me so i got it. I installed the speakers and head unit myself, but had the amp installed at best buy to make sure it was done properly. When I showed the tech what I had, he immediately reacted negatively. Apparently this amp had been installed before with the same speakers and "cut out" at high volume because of overheating. Sure enough, when I turn my alpine up to 22 out of 30, it plays for about 15-20 seconds and then goes silent. If I keep my back seat down with the air condition blasting on max, it can handle up to around 23. It's too bad because the speakers can handle the volume, but the amp can't.

If someone has a suggestion on fixing this problem, please let me know. I am considering replacing it with an alpine mrp f300 because I know the V series runs nice and cool. If I put it under a seat instead of in the trunk (even though it looks like it wouldnt fit under the seat of my jetta), would that matter? Probably not because when I have the heat on in the winter, or drive around in the 90 degree heat of the summer, it will still run hot. I think that would only solve the problem of having to keep the back seat open. Screw this amp. High performance my ass.
