I've used Infinity speakers for years and they never fail to impress me. My vehicle has the Kappa line from a few years ago and I also added the Basslink self-powered subwoofer. I decided it was time to replace my wife's factory speakers and seeing that her vehicle is higher mileage, I decided to try the Reference line to see how the entry level speakers compared. WOW! I purchased this set with the 3032cf for the dash and the 6032cf for the doors. Due to the current sale, I was able to get all three sets for $191 delivered - an excellent bargain! I was very impressed with the 6032cf and 9633cf tweeter enhancement switch which adds an extra 3 db if needed (and in her car it did since her stock headunit only has bass, midrange, and treble adjustments.) When we tested out some of our favorite rock tunes (particularly sections with heavy bass,) they performed so impressively that my wife commented that it sounds like my car with the subwoofer ... only she doesn't have one. Highly recommended! Infinity proves once again they are the premiere speaker manufacturer.

I was looking for a high quality, yet affordable speakers to put in the doors of my Toyota FJ Cruiser. These are exactly what I was looking for.

The speakers are of very solid construction - solid metal with a rubber and metal woofer and two-way tweeter with 3db boost option. The upper end is very, very clear providing great range for voice and higher-end instruments. The speakers work best with a sub-woofer that helps to balance out the low end.

I considered Alpine and Infinity Kappa series when evaluating speakers. Both of them had a stronger low-end but much weaker high-end. If you have a sub-woofer and are looking for speakers to help round out the car's system, these are for you.

I also installed the Infinity Reference 3032cf 3.5-Inch, 75-watt High Performance Two-Way Loudspeaker (Pair) in the dash and rear pillar. Excellent match. Now I prefer to listen to music in my truck over virtually any other location.

These speakers, like most Infinity speakers, are well made. Sound is excellent when hooked to an external amplifier. But please watch out for the details of what comes with this speaker set. You get the speakaers, foam material for installation and that's it. No grills, no installation hardware, such as screws, no speaker wires, and no terminals. Luckily enough, I was not aware that I puchased the newer version of a set of speakers I already had, so I could reuse the old grills and hardware. The set is worth what Amazon sells it for, but it would of been nice to have updated grills.

I purchased the Infinity Reference 9633cf and 6032cf speakers for my 1997 Honda Accord. I must say I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The 9633cf's did not fit underneath the stock rear speaker grills, but I was able to space them back by installing them up from the trunk rather than down through the top like the stock speakers, allowing use of the stock grill. The 6032cf's fit great in the front doors, after removing the plastic speaker bucket. I've had these speakers installed since October of 2009, wired straight into a nice 4x50Watt JVC deck, and they still kick! This was by far the best $80 I could have ever spent on a pair of 6x9 speakers. I'm extremely satisfied!

I chose not to use the +3dB treble boost on the rear 9633cf's, as the high-frequency sounds bounced nicely off my rear window. I did however use the boost on the 6032cf's mounted in my doors, as they were not aimed directly at me and needed a little help to get the sound up to the listener.

I chose these speakers based on economy and durability. The synthetic cone material is quite durable, and the rubber surround can take a heavy beating and stand up to strong temperature variations. I don't foresee needing to upgrade before my car finally dies.

I got these because I generally trust Infinity brand and Harmon Kardon. They have a nice balanced sound and while not overpowering, a pretty decent low end. I was listening to some music and thought "Roh?", rewound a bit and sure enough, a good hint at some 40 to 50 Hz notes. This was when I was parked with no engine running so those low notes are less easy to hear. The bass had a decent punch at high volumes. The +3db tweeter switch is a nice touch. The have pretty high sensitivity, I don't know if they are really 94db at 1w/1m but pretty good. oh, also really nice is the adjustable tweeter. I think that is great! Considering how some speakers sit so low and sound great directly in front of them but not so much when you have your head in a driving position it sure helps a lot.

OK, here is the rub (for me) about these speakers. First the tweeters are not flush with the face of the speaker. For some mounting situations this may not work. Second, and the reason I had to return them, they are 2 ohms. This is great if you have a nice stable amp but for a modest head unit or amp stable only to 4 ohms minimum you might be in trouble and the amp might not be stable. I had these in the back and were fine with factory speakers up front but when I put in the 5.25" Infinity speakers (2 ohm) up front the amp would click (not distort) at high volume. I also read at crutchfield website that the higher load you put on your amp with 2 ohm (or 1!) you will reveal more noise with your amp if it is of lower quality. I want a very clean and stable setup so it did not work for me.

If you have the amp for it and it mounts for you these are a very good choice and the value is pretty good for the quality.

Well built speakers with really good sound quality. If you really want to make the most of it's rated power output you may need to have an amplifier to power it. But, even with just the car's stock head unit the power output is way better and louder than OEM/stock speakers because these are 2 ohms speakers (stock speakers are 4 ohms). Well rounded on all 3 departments: Base, mid range and highs. Be aware though that due to the bigger magnets that these speakers have, you may need to cut out part of the plastic inner door panel to make room for it (which I did in mine but was worth it). These are stand alone speakers with no wiring harness, screws or grills included, but if you can live with all of that these are a great buy!

I have an 04 impala with premium system so it had 6x9s in the back and installation was a breeze. The speaker bolted to my factory mount. The wires matched up with the harness very easily. It took me around an hour to install both speakers (in the dark) and I can very easily put the factory speakers back in if I were to sell the vehicle and still wanted to keep these.

I am very impressed with the sound improvement. They are much more clear than my factory speakers. Combined with infinity components in the front, which I just installed, I couldn't be happier.

They sound good right now. I have a four channel amp pushing them but the wattage is kind of low considering these guys' peak. I'll eventually upgrade and get the full use out of it. Great price for a top of the line speaker. In Frys these things are around $200.

Very nice speakers that fit my needs perfectly, and were delivered early. If you own a Honda Civic I would be weary about replacing the factory speakers unless they are absolutely shot like mine were. I would say the installation process took about 3-4 hours.

Ideal upgrade to your 6x9 speakers. Sound is very clear and the bass is better than I expected. No grills or hardware came in the package though. I recommend these speakers if you don't feel like buying an amp. If you plan on buying an amp, buy the kapa series.
