Great system, Handles music especially well. The box came with a couple different options for speaker mounts which was nice and I love the look of the sub. Excellent speaker construction/design. I ended up using it for a smaller room and in retrospect it could fill a larger space easily. Overall very happy with the speakers.

In my haste to get a surround sound system in my new house for superbowl i initially bought a $700.00 samsung system from best buy. First let me say im not a fan of the all in one blu-ray player with the built in surround sound system which the samsung was. Needless to say I took back the samsung which was a complete waste of money. Since then i have been looking for a speaker system that i could use with my Sony reciever. I readed up on the Infiniy TSS-800 CHR. I thought if this system looked as good as advertised and sound anything remotely like the claim they were making, then it would be a good deal. Last week Amazon had this as a gold box special so my wife bought it for me. After hooking the system up and putting it to the test (Terminator Salvation, Transfomers Revenge of the Fallen and Matrix Reloaded) I have to say, I was blown away!!!..this system was everything that the makers claim it would be. The sound was crisp and on point, the subwoofer was booming to a point that i had to turn the setting down, and the look of the speakers? well let me just say, friend have come over and the first thing that they say about the speakers is just how nice looking that they are, even the subwoofer. This set also comes with some mounting options and some beautiful stands. I went with the Rockfish wireless back speaker kit and it works great. If u r looking for a Home theater System to use with your reciever/amp...you just found them, these speakers r "Simply Awesome"

I purchased these speakers and they sound great. They were highly recommended by several local stores, so I went online to find a good price. So far, I have not had any problem with them. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.

We bought this on Amazon in response to one of their one-day special offers, and this experience has proved to me that the offers are always worth considering. This speaker system has met all of our expectations as casual home entertainment system users. Matched with the Onkyo HT-RC260 Receiver, they provide clean, crisp sound at all volume levels and in all frequency ranges in our 16' by 20' living room space -- a definite improvement over a Bose 3-2-1 system that we had for about 8 years, and which cost substantially more. The construction feels very solid and the wiring was easy to attach. Instructions were easy to follow, although they are a little short on information about the settings for the subwoofer. Thankfully, the instructions with the Receiver and the settings provided by the Audyssey program took care of that shortfall. All in all we are delighted.

Very good sound. In the end buying them from Costco. Cost exactly the same without delivery and you have Costco's warrantee as well

This is a bargain for the sound and product quality. The speaks look beautiful. I connected the speaker to my Yamaha receiver and played the Transformer 2 blue ray DVD. The sound is amazing! To eliminate the need to run wires from the receiver to the surround sound speakers in the back, there is a Rocketfish Wireless Surround Sound Kit. Highly recommend this home theater system to anyone! It is a bargain price for the great sound quality it delivers!

These Infinty speakers are awesome. Price wise, quality and sound is amazing. I am very pleased with the sound quality.

First, this item retails for $800. I got it here for less than half that (Thanks Amazon). So what does $350 get you? One word, beauty. These things are gorgeous both in appearance and the clarity of sound. I'm not an audiophile but the improvement from my old RCA HTIB was massive and I haven't even upgraded the receiver yet. I'm sure when I do it will be even better. Right now I can only put 400 watts into them but even that sounds great (though my neighbors would argue that). There is no distortion. The sound is crystal on low or high volume. I will mention that the room they are in is small so I have to keep the sub turned way down or the bass overpowers the satellites. Or I can crank it when my neighbor is being a jerk. Also,they sell stands for these that look really great but for almost as much as I payed for the system. I think I'll get some 3rd party stands. When I get my new receiver I will update about how they sound when pushed to their max (sats are rated for 100 watts each, center 125). My overall impression is that these are solid (read heavy), quality, aesthetically pleasing speakers. They literally scream quality. I recommend you buy these, or the slightly larger TSS-1200 (more power handling, bigger sub) if you have a very large room.

This Infinity TSS 800 CHR Theater Speaker System, for the price, is the best system I have found in the market place. Very Sturdy quality of materials, many options for set up, all needed hardware came in the box! Great deal, great price from Amazon!

Upon moving into a new house that included a "man cave" i began searching for a quality sound system to accompany my 55" Samsung LED without breaking the wallet. AFter a significant amount of research & reading reviews, I found the TSS-800 on amazon, ordered it & purchased a new pioneed receiver as well.

In short, this sound system is great for a room the size of a traditional man cave. The speakers accompanied by a new pioneer receiver produce awesome sound for the price. I wasn't sure what to expect, but in the end i was very pleased. I chose to have the "geek squad" install the new receiver & the speaker system so that it was set up correctly. THe powered sub is great, surround speakers great, the only item that need some tweaking was the center channel. The surround kind of drowned it out, but the geek squad adjusted the receiver to balance the sound properly.

overall, i'm very impressed with this product for the price. However, this product might not be the best for a movie room (large movie room) but is definately above the rest for a man cave type room. Try watching termindator salvation on blue ray & make sure all your sound connections are HDMI. Do not sure optical unless you have an old receiver.
