I have had this product for several months.

It does an excellent job on bare floors, including getting in corners and underneath things. It picks up dust and cat litter on bare floors with no problem. It can climb over door sills and some low carpets. Not useful on rugs except absolute flat weave. It is a bit noisy.

It has a small rotating brush which helps it get into corners, but also trouble, should it encounter any type of rug fringe or string (e.g. shoe lace). Brush is only $3 plus shipping to replace.

I find the self-docking feature useless but love the UV light for the bathroom and kitchen floor -- floors cleaned of dust, cat hair, etc. and some degree of sterilization in these 2 rooms every morning -- how cool is that?

This product does a very good cleaning job. I have hardwood floors and the cleaning pattern does not leave an area untouched. This product is easy to clean and catches things you barely see.

I am not that happy about the home function. Thought it would go directly to the home base for charging. Instead it bounces aimlessly off the woodwark until it happens into the base.

Great little vac for my hardwood floors. Love that it goes back to the base when done or when battery is low. I wish I could adjust the height of the bumper bar as my new sofa is just high enough that it can get stuck at the right angle. Also wish it came with replacement brushes as it did come with extra filters. Beats the price on the other major brand and this works better for the price range.

Day 1:

Just received the item 3 hours ago. Did a quick charge and then got to work. I had the machine work for 23 minutes and it beeped that it was full. I will not tell you how gross the hair and dust and stuff was that it picked up. I cleaned the bush as well that had tons of hair wrapped around it. The room is smelling cleaner already. I started this on carped, so i look forward to hardwood. Will try to keep updated going. SO far it is awesome and a great buy.

Surprisingly effective for my needs. We needed something to run daily to pick up pet hair and this really does the trick. It has a small bin that requires you to clean it out frequently so it does much better with daily maintenance than the first day we used it when we hadn't swept for a week. It manages to bumble its way around most of the first floor with very little assistance and can get our entire first floor in one charge. It does struggle to go onto even very low carpets or transition through doorways that have any sort of floor threshold. Basically this works great on hardwood or other hard floors. It will work its way around obstacles. Its only real struggles are going onto carpet or over any sort of obstacle.

We have 4 cats and a 60-lb dog and we regularly use her on our laminate floors. We love her so much we've named her Rosie, like on the Jetsons. :) She doesn't do a great job on the throw rugs but I'm thrilled with her work on the fake hardwood. She doesn't scratch the floors and she picks up pet fur "tumbleweeds" with ease. We give her free run of the 3 downstairs rooms that total about 860 sq ft and if we run her every other day, the floors are always respectable for unexpected company. The noise level is not obnoxious and sort of like the hairdryer; you tend to forget about it if you're busy doing other chores. The feature where she should find her charging station isn't quite as impressive or entertaining as I had hoped. But she zips under and around the sofa and tables with an impressive ease. She's easy to clean too but I haven't had much luck finding the fragrance packets - those sound pretty cool so I might need to make my own from potpourri.

This is a great introduction to robotic vacuums. If it works for your family, you could consider an upgrade to a model that works better on rugs/carpet and doesn't fall down stairs!

Keep in mind this appliance is ONE MONTH OLD and under warranty. The Plug-in power transformer is faulty but I cannot get it replaced because I am unable to contact an Australian or Overseas agent/distributer. The vacuum cleaner is not working and I am unable to solve the problem? I am an experienced electrician and am sure of my analysis of what is at fault.
