great 4 value, air stays in, only comes out if squeezed hard. i left a little air outm and my 9 mt old can grab it and walk around. super light weight, would buy again.

We bought these balls for a long plane ride for our toddler. The plane was to inflate them on our layover, so he would have something to kick around and play with. Well, the beach balls were leaky and would not stay inflated. Granted we are talking about a cheap plastic ball, but why even bother selling them if they will not work?

This ball has been a fun toy for my son. During the holidays, we had visited his grandparents, who had a larger beach ball that he played with in the house. When we got home, we had to get one, as it was so much fun! This ball is a great size for a young child (up to 5 or 6), for playing ball in the house, etc. For older kids and for a pool or water, I might go for a larger size. It's fairly durable though, and for a total of $5 or so, we've gotten our money's worth out of it already!

While the shipping cost more than this beach ball, I only spent $5 total for a ton of quiet alertness from my 3-month old as he watched me spin the ball so he could watch the many colors turn before his eyes. What a simple game! Well worth the wait in the mail.
