For the money, I figured that, as long as this battery worked at all, it'd make a handy backup for the battery that came with my Sony HandyCam. Happily, it works great and is now my primary battery.

It does add weight to the camera, but, if anything, the camera balances better and shakes a little less for it.

This batters is ideal for recording long videos and capturing still photos. The battery last for the amount of time I use the camcorder. If I owned the factory I would supply the higher capicity battery with every new camcorder. Thank you Amazon.

loving the battery, did NOT fall on me. bought mine for the sony hdr ux-10. took one day to charge, and lasted 400+ minutes. now FULLY charges in about 45min. what a great battery!!! seems just as durable as original. it even works with the readout that tells you how many minutes the camera has left. paid $8 i think? EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED WILL BUY AGAIN
