After around 3 months, the battery swelled inside the camera to the point where I could just barely get it out. If this $2 battery had ruined my $400 camera .... Grrr. I should have known better. I'll get the Sony branded, expensive battery from here on out.

Misleading description, is not exact match for NP-BD1. Tossed it out, oh well, don't make the same mistake I made.

I order from Efrocity and the size is just right and didn't have any size problems as the other reviewers! Though the make is not Sony it is good. There isn't really any other official extended life Sony battery out there. Order from Efrocity for the right size.

Yes it was cheap. Yes it worked in my camera. About about 6 months of very light use, and sharing the load with the OEM battery, this aftermarket battery swelled up so much it would not eject from the camera on its own. At first, I could use my fingernail to pry it up. After another month, I had to use a butterknife to unwedge it out. I think that's enough for me. Garbage time. All in all, it worked fine for a little while...and it was cheap. That's all well and good (earned it 3 stars), but that same OEM battery is still going... (so no more than 3 stars).

Its a good alternative option to backup the operation of your camera;good response to charge and you never knows that its an alternative part.

Thought I would try it as a cheap alternative, but corners are sharp and it is much longer than original Sony battery. No way does it fit this camera or the charger! Might fit others, but not this model.

Sent wrong camera battery.Still wait for the correct battery . I already sent the 2 wrong batteries back last week and got no reply that it was received or if and when they are sending the correct battery. The reson I sent 2 batteries back is because they sent the wrong battery again.

This is not a Sony product and I knew that going in. I have used a lot of products like this and it always seems to be hit or miss. The good news is that if it's a "miss" you don't take a huge hit (in the wallet). Eforcity ROCKS! They usually have great products and excellent service. That said, the battery I received is TERRIBLE! I took about 40 pictures over the course of about 14 hours and it was spent. The original that came with it lasts about 4 to 5 times longer than this one. I don't take video very often but would not dare do it with this thing in the camera. It is OK if you just need an emergency backup (for the price) but do not count on this product. (I use it in the Sony DSC-T90 and it fits just fine). Hope this helps!

The rechargeable batteries works good, but this batteries more thick than original. And very difficult to extract it from camera.

I think , it would be the origingal sony battery, but its something not, but anyhow, product works good, and provide a good battery life ..
