Best New Band I Have Heard In Years!!!, August 8, 2009
Lately it feels like there is an abundance of these cookie-cutter bands that all seem to have the same sound, lyrics, and look, and I have been choking on it. Then I discover Nightmare Of You. This is the best music I have listened to in years! So original, so bittingly fresh, and so irreverent! I have been telling anyone that will listen for the last 4 months that they NEED to give this band a try! A band like this comes around so very rarely and we need to support this type of talent and creativity or all we are going to get from the major record labels are the same types of bands with the same pretenious and drool lyrics. I am sorry folks, but I need a band that has an unmistakeable style and sound and Nightmare Of You is that band!
This album is an incredible follow-up to their last and really shows you their range and maturity as artists. Like the last album, this one you play all of the way through because there are no low notes. If you love this music like I do, then tell your local radio stations that you want to hear Nightmare Of You!!!
