5.0 out of 5 stars Live material during their commercial peak!, May 19, 2002
This review is from: Infomercial: How to Become Tubular (Audio CD)
The Tubes are featured here in a live radio broadcast on the BBC circa 1981. This concert covers the lion's share of their "Completion Backward Principle" album, and you can hear how much fun the band is having. While not as outrageously fun as their "What Do You Want From Live" LP, this is a rare and privileged peek into the world of one of the greatest and most underrated bands of all time.

5.0 out of 5 stars sounds great in surround sound, August 2, 2011

I converted my backroom/garage into a man cave with a 7 speaker surround system powered by a 700 watt receiver and this album/disc sounds incredible, especially "Mr. Hate" and "Let's make some noise". The band is tight and the interplay on stage is nice too. Prarie Prince remains my favorite drummer of all time and he is impressive on this disc. I crank it up at least once a week to bring back fond memories of seeing them live. It is in my top 5 of live albums of alltime, along with their earlier masterpiece, "What do you want from Live".
