This is not just an important book for today's information/knowledge worker - it's a must!
Like a "field guide", Pijpers explains both the nature of information and those of us who rely on information for successful work. He divides the book into two parts. The first part deals with information and how people process information. The second part lays out important aspects about searching for and consuming information, as well as how to be more effective in using it with other people. Effective use of Pijpers' advice involves work, but it's hard to imagine even the most experienced of today's worker won't benefit right away from his advice. The book belongs on every 21st Century worker's bookshelf. |
