5.0 out of 5 stars Don't judge a book by the wrong cover!
Reviewers shouldn't rate a book based on the fact that they weren't careful enough to check out the correct author or title before ordering. 2.0 out of 5 stars The wrong David Hawkins
This Author is not David Hawkins of the Relationship Doctor. I made three expensive purchases of this MD's new age writings thinking it was the Christian psychologist of the same name. You need to differentiate between the two and I am going to have bonfire.

This review is from: The Informed Vision: Essays on Learning and Human Nature (Paperback)
Reviewers shouldn't rate a book based on the fact that they weren't careful enough to check out the correct author or title before ordering. David Hawkins (1913-2002) was a distinguished professor emeritus of philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the official historian of the Manhattan Project. He was a Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton and a visiting professor at colleges and universities in the United States, England, Canada and Italy. Hawkins and his wife, Frances, a leader in early childhood education, founded the CU campus-based Mountain View Center for Environmental Education, which provided advanced education for elementary and pre-school teachers. This book, used in college courses at Harvard beautifully lays out the "informed vision" that educators need to create meaningful learning.
