I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for 3 of my grandsons, ages 8 thru 11. They loved them. Even more amazing, my husband and my stepson loved them as well. None of them could stop playing with them. My husband charged them up the night before so that they would be ready to fly the next morning. Well he had to recharge them because he kept flying them. He said he wanted to make sure they worked. I understood that but it took him a long time to realized that they worked properly, smile. The next day, my stepson was showing his sons how to fly them and he would hardly let them go. The boys got bikes as well. My husband and I felt that it was good that they had something they could play with in and outside. They played with the flying saucer so much that the bikes didn't interest them at first. Later in the day, they rode their bikes. When they did, my stepson started playing with the flying saucers. All day he kept saying, "you should have got me one of these". So in my opinion, this was "a great gift".

My 7 yo is having fun. It only goes up and down, but can fly across the room if you hold it up in an angle when it takes off. 2 flashing light settings are cool in the dark. Small rotor balance piece broke off 2nd day of use, and the bottom stand on the 3rd day (though we figured out that it can be snapped back into place. This is small, so are the parts, so be careful with it! Oh, and don't let it fly out of range or it'll keep going. Don't even think about flying it outdoors!

Bought 2 of these - They last about 10 min on a charge but after the 3rd charge they quit taking a charge. If you buy two beware, one remote will control both of them and is impossible to do. Both are in the garbage now - Waste of money - Too bad because when they are flying its fun stuff.

I played with this toy for eight minutes total. It's fun to play with but you could get more enjoyment out of $30 at the arcade. I didn't crash it and didn't bump it into anything. It landed gently every time. After it ran out of charge, I plugged it back in. After charging it the toy stopped working. The motor sputtered and the lights no longer linked to the remote. The remote could be all the way up in the full on position and the motor would be spinning inside but did not spin either of the dual blades. So FRUSTRATING.

I bought this for my 10 year old son. He loved it and started to fly it immediately. He played with it off and on for a couple hours. He then came to tell me the bottom rudder piece had fallen off and broke and that it would no longer fly. For $30.00 I would expect it to be a bit more durable.

I got this for my 7 year old son and he loved it. It lasted almost a month (playing with it almost every other day), but then wouldn't do anything..I knew it might not last to long with it being so small and fragile, but for $20.00 I expected it to last a little longer for sure. There is no physical damage to it, the batteries have been changed, and it has been fully charged.. so it has to be something on the inside that's not working.

My kids loved this toy, but their delight crashed when one of the two we purchased crashed almost immediately and broke. It has since been turned into a decorative robot.

Usually these flying things are less than impressive however this one really flew and even hovered at one point as one might imagine a flying saucer to do. Nice radio-controlled toy.

We didn't have this for a week before it broke. We tried to fix it, but the screw was so small that our smallest screwdriver (the kind that repairs glasses) couldn't fix it. Otherwise, it was one of my neat remote control toy because you control it differently than others in that you control the speed of the blades to go up and down. You can't control its moving forward, sideways and back -- just up and down. Despite that, it was captivating. For $20, it should be able to last longer.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. He saw one while on a trip to Chicago and loved it! He will be so surprised! I rated the toy mid-range durable as it is delicate and you wouldn't want your pet to get ahold of it!
