I like this sander very much. It is all that was advertised. The only thing that I do not care for is that it is a bit more air hungry than others that I have used. This would be less of a problem with a Very High CFM air compressor. A minimum CFM requirement would have been useful in making a choice. Still, for the money, it is a great buy.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I could have purchased a cheaper unit from one of those local freight stores, but they dont carry the world leader in air tools. Do yourself a favor and buy an IR.

I have put this sander to work on sanding boat's 4 day's a week's in the past 10 weeks and is sanding as good as day one. I need to get a smaller one now.

works great,just make sure your compressor can handle it. nice and simple sander.good price,good buy.

This is a nice balance between price and quality. Actually the unit is very sturdy.

My air compressor (3hp/ 6 peak hp Campbell-hausfield)is supposed to be rated 10cfm at 90 psi, but its not a huge tank. This DA works without but it sure runs out of steam fairly quickly, and I was forced to wait for my air compressor to catch up. If I had an air compressor that was able to maintain a higher CFM this DA would be perfect for it.

Great little sander. My only gripe is is It did not mention that it only takes adhesive backed sanding discs. I wanted to use abralon pads but i cannot since i now have to find how to replace the pad to get the hook and loop which abralon pads use.

i am very pleased with my tool i have many IR tools before i became disabled i was a diesl mechanic i rate IR top in air tools i hope they never loose thier qualaty as so many once good brands have i wish they could be made in us only but i know thats probaly asking to much thank you

I had a cheaper sander before this one and it only lasted a few hours. This one is so much smoother and quieter. Very nice. BUT it does use one heck of a lot of cfm. But well worth the money.

Quality sander. Does the job well! I don't expect any less. Ingersoll rand wins! Make sure you use gloves to protect you hands with the vibration.
